if the ocean would carry me
it'll collapse under the weight of my bones
made with cement and steel
and the burden each brick owns

witness the waves howler and scream
just like the heart caged in my chest
blood bubbling around the muscle
surging with every beat and protest

the bottom of the sea may be quiet
like my tongue folded neatly in my mouth
though feral beasts deep within
choke with pressure more than i can count

the ocean and i are seperate
both flowers from different gardens
one ephemeral, one wilting before your eyes
but both's head tilting up to the heavens

sorrowful eyes, swirling, storm awakening
chaos mingling betwixt water and blood
ravid souls in dire need of feeding
cursed and blessed by god

i wonder if i could carry the ocean
within just the corners of my palm
i and the ocean - we are one
a catastrophe after the calm
i love the ocean. it makes you feel a lot of things.

The idea of us leaves me disgusted.
**** those future plans like we never discussed it.
You made promises and I did too
But at least I was willing to fight for us
Why weren’t you?

Nah.

Don’t answer.

Because no matter your excuses or your reasons or your apologies I’m done.
I find the idea of re-kindling our spark a depressing one
And I’m tired of being depressed.
I’m tired of being broken and honestly, I’m tired of being stressed

Wondering if I’m good enough for you
Strong enough for you
Beautiful enough for you
Innocent enough for you

And it’s crazy. Once upon a time, you were my everything.
You had me swept up in your rose-colored love that by time the winds died down I was left with nothing.

You caged me.

But now I’m roaming wild and free
Running with the one who was meant for me
And I don’t plan on looking back on any day
To see if you ever realize that I’m the one that got away.

Inked Quill
My cravings
Drenched
Seeking deeper taste
Of you
Insatiable desire
At the centre
Of my heart
To write poetry
On your chiseled body
Your moans
Send me on frenzied flow
Sinfully voracious
Visually I feast
Your naked hide
Every curve of your body
Purest form of masterpiece
You are both the candle

burning in the back of my mind

gently illuminating my every thought

your soft glow always guiding me home

and the roaring bonfire

whose heat and light

are a beacon for miles around

drawing me irrevocably to you

your pulse and energy

burn with a primal force

that makes my blood sing

and flames me to life
The joining
of your soul to mine
You feel it
My heartbeat
Through your lips
My breath
Swirls
Like painting light
Across your body
Fingertips
Tracing bliss
Of knowing
You are mine
Of mixing
Blessing
With desire
Of sacred acts
Older than memory
Of feeling
Your soul
Blend and curl
Under your skin
Letting me in
Meet me
In the place
we both know
is Home
Where I
Belong to you
With names
I cannot remember
My aching heart
Longs to surrender
To everything
Without fear
Meet me here
