I'll Laugh

Wolf
If I can't hear you
I'll laugh
Since I'm afraid to ask for clarity

If you offend me
I'll laugh
It's just a joke of course...

If you insult me
I'll laugh
My self-confidence cannot be lowered!

If I'm humiliated
I'll laugh
Punishment and anguish will come soon

If you notice the cuts
I'll laugh
"It was just my dog, LOL."

If I'm ready to die
I'll laugh
I don't want you to know

If I cause harm
I'll laugh
It'll make me sound innocent :)

If you see my fear
I'll laugh
To simply strengthen the illusion

Salmabanu Hatim
On this Valentine's  Day,
I give you a Rose with a thorn,
To say,"Accept me with my flaws,
I am what I am,
But I love you as you are."

Keep your head up high
Even if your heart's down low
When the future rolls around
You'll be laughing about it, I know

The courage that you had
To let your feelings show
Keep it with you, always
It'll surely help you grow

Heartbreak hurts in many ways
You might think it's your time to go
But surround yourself with joyful things
And soon you'll start to glow

The ground is still beneath you
Even when the tears do flow
It may seem like it's over now
But you'll get through it, though
For Poolza, and anyone else who is suffering from heartbreak. Don't give up hope, remember to love and accept yourself.

The word t
                  u mbling fro
                                      m my mouth.
A Bold Statement
They stop...
A blood red lie, I kept in my pocket
Their body turning towards the fresh noise
Revealing, laughter
Their expression a stern nod of disapproval,
and a shove aside
I am now a clown,
a mockery
I repeated
those stale claims made in contempt

My tears
Sweet chocolate

Their laughter
joined by mine
The words being
I am gay

This poem is about how I was always called "gay" because of my mannerisms and uninterest in women.  When I came out, it was a joke because I always denied it was "the secret I kept in my pocket".  Even though they don't accept me, it doesn't matter.  All their power is taken when you laugh with them.

It's Okay

"It's okay"
A whisper from your soul
words so
ethereal
because they
come from you
You,
I,
might be wrong,
    but buried in your shirt
the phrase
makes the tears fall
My heavy eyelids
Your blue shirt,
is now the perfect pillow.
