I will spread dirt into every crevice of my broken heart and plant flowers so big and beautiful, that their roots will mend all the shattered pieces back together, and you’ll never be able to see the mess I used to be.

Sometimes I spend the night in a different room
Not because I feel alone
But because I don't want to be consumed
By the same emptiness of the night
My mind must not wander in it
Or I will surrender to it
Others have done it before
I will make sure not to walk through that door
Madness will call me
No choice but to go with it
So I leave my room
So it won't find me in it

-J.R
This poem is just me trying to explain why I find myself in a different room. Sometimes I just can't sleep in my own bed. Because it doesn't feel right. I feel like if I sleep in that bed over and over again, I'll drive myself insane. The second line I lied because I do feel alone. Sometimes you just need someone with you, to feel the warmth and the presence of other human being.

Time never stops
For no one

You can´t keep living in the past
Expecting a bright future

Death is close
Will you dance with him?

The end is the beginning
Will you embrace it?
You cannot run
You cannot hide

It will keep haunting you
Until you cut all the ties

The past is not your home
Not anymore

Let it go

Or you will be drowned

Talking to your past-
The face you grew apart from-
The places you departed-
The memories like rain
Up on the roof

You’re talking back in time
To a place where
Once you laughed
Once you joined together
Made plans way in advance

What comes of conversations
And glances beneath the veneer
Of all the walls and bridges
Put up between you
Through the years?
What can be brought back to life
Or some resemblance of?
Is there still a kind of light there
Could it be the light of love?

dailythoughts
your bad habits hurt me more
then they hurt you
lies
trust issues
Pawning the diamonds
at keen witless rate,
who in the world has
won 'gainst fate?

Let my silence teach you

what my words

did not
This year, do not explain yourself (especially repeatedly) to someone who does not listen. Let your silence be your response. Let your happiness be your response. Let your peace be your authenticity.

my life did not use
to be a minefield

just a field
of dry grass
and dead trees
i have to try my best not to make a move that will drive me over the edge
