Is it too much to ask
To be heard
To be listened to
To be seen
To be remembered?

Whether sunrise or sunset
Autumn leaves or sundress
The party always seems like one less

Whether rain falls or snow rests
Your beauty escapes no breath
The party always seems like one less

Whether dark days bring deep stress
Your loves what keeps this pen wet
The party always seems like one less

Whether hearts break or re-mesh
Your soul is my weakness
This party just isn’t the same without your sweetness

When I was a child,
I was taught poetry wasn't mild,
It was deep as the sea,
And it seemed truly unachievable for me.
I was taught poetry had to rhyme,
Every single line, every single time.
So poetry seemed out of my reach,
Like chasing a seagull down a beach,
Jumping ever so slightly away,
Or soaring into the sunny day.

So I never thrived for what I thought would,
No, Could
Never be.

I guess now I'm fixing the mistakes of past me.

Now I lie in bed reminiscing on the love we've made
Those days are gone let's call a ***** a *****

Today mama am signing off
In this suite and am ever gorgeous
Am emotional that I made you proud and ever pompous
You raised me with value and to never show off
But rather to strive and always grow up
I wish father was here to gaze at his face ever joyous
I am through but yet I  forever move forth
I love you mama though I've never spoke thus
Just graduated from the university officially and making my mama proud
Now I have yo move on to the next stage

What a waste
Waste of beauty, potentials and dreams
I guess she had plans for the future like you and me
What to do and what to be
like a dust blown into the air
They're now ascended into space
Ourselves we must now brace
Her demise a hidden message only for an eloquent ace
But don't stop trusting in his(God) imminient grace
For she has gotten to the end of her very race
The day will wake and she will not stir
You will call her name but she lay still
Glance At her preferred spot and she's not there
You will gaze upon her meadow saffron but she won't care
Because She has gone into the darkness
But her smile in our hearts remainst the brightest
I will miss her the slightest
So I write you dry your tears
While she's laid to rest
I urge you cryless
A tribute written to console a friend of mine who lost a beloved friend of hers
Sorry she had to pass on so soon.
The title can also be waste or cryless depends on the readers
Wrote this poem for her(my friend) to stop her from shading tears

Is it the words whispered
in secret corridors
i love you

are they proclaimed boldly
from roof tops

Or maybe love
sounds like laughter
giggles shared only between two

what if love has no noise
its beauty is similar to a sunset
seen and felt
but never heard
