I had to leave you behind
Hoping you understand my plight
I had to move on knowing am just but leaving your sight
This page is the end of the old chapter of my life
Now am leaving the city that I love
But it wasn't about the city or you
Rather doing what am expected to do
So I urge you to seek salvation in a way that's true
I will always cherish this memory of two
I will miss everyone and I hope the same too
I have gotten to the end of my service year and I will miss everyone, but I have to move on. I hope they miss me

He tried to breathe but couldn't
He gasped
He called for help from peers
They laughed
They called him a joker inert
He cried
If only they knew his plight
They don't
He sinking with struggle
paralyzed
He dropped to the deepest deep
Inundated
Unseen when it's time to depart
Alarmed
Maybe he've gone to another side
They bluffed
The search is over he's yet unfound
They dived
To the deep in search of him
Unfound
More crowd commenced the search
Announced
For hours they were without a lead
Confused
Then a diver saw a figure floating freely beneath the deep
He drowned
They came afloat but still he lay
He died
This is an ode to my little brother who drowned

Everything is perfect, unless
You are thinking too much,
Think less.

Is the blue sea not a sight to behold
Are dolphins not lovely to watch
Are the seasons not enticing enough
Is the view from the mountain top not pleasurable after the climb
If only we can find love in the smoothness of green grasses
We'd realise true happiness isn't in abundance of green currencies
Only when we fall in love with the true gifts of nature
We'd appreciate the value of every other creatures
We'd find pleasure in it and seek less treasures
only if we can!!!!
I have kissed boys

Girls

People in between

But lately I have been kissing bottles

Their lips are colder than yours

But slowly I have realized that the pounding headache when I wake is less hurtful than the shattering in my chest

Yet as these toxins rush through my veins

I can't help but miss the tracing of your fingers along my skin

Miss the numbness of the world when you lie with me

But when I wake I remember that a headache is treated with an aspirin

While heartache

Well if you have a cure for Heartache let me know

Am sticking with poetry
Hoping it be necessary
Whenever I write it seeming like a remedy
My soul ushered with liberty
Serving my mind tranquility
My eyes made open to the sweetness of the melody
Extinguishing severe malady
I start to taste truth hidden in written fallacy
Glancing through my dictionary
Sapping words consistently
Poetry unviels these and more occasionally
This is meant to be another version of my poem #poerty
