Wanderer
Is it the words whispered
in secret corridors
i love you

are they proclaimed boldly
from roof tops
I LOVE YOU

Or maybe love
sounds like laughter
giggles shared only between two

what if love has no noise
its beauty is similar to a sunset
seen and felt
but never heard
I am beautiful.
But you are not her...
My doubts creep up.
Crocodiles from a dark swamp
“Go away.” I whisper.
I am kind.
But no one likes you as much as her...
“Stop!” I plead.
They get louder.
You will never be enough.
Not for him. Not for them.
You are a burden.
No one wants you around.
I scream.
Then...
Silence.
I am alone.
you are not sure
insecurity imprisons
between doing and not doing
but do not fear
no creative genius emerged
from blind confidence
it is the unsure artist
who tinkers and questions
that creates beauty
and yet
carries on insecurely

nuggz
you get one day to cry
but tomorrow
it’s time to fix your crown
An ordinance of Heaven
An arc of Glory
A beauty of the Sky
A wonder of the Earth
The eye of seven Colors
Glittering wonder of the seven Seas
Hello Rainbow!

Dear Rainbow
You are a symbol of Covenant
You are a symbol of Assurance
You are a symbol of Glory
You are a symbol of Victory
You are a symbol of Love
Hello Rainbow!

Marvelous Rainbow
A mystery in the morning
An enigma at noonday
A puzzle at evening
A riddle at night
Loved by old and young
Hello Rainbow!
The trees do sing, he told me.

I didn’t believe him but, I listened.

The wind flowed through the trees,

And it hummed a soft tune.

Then all the birds followed with small chirps.

The light of the sun beamed through the leaves,

As sweet creatures came out to share their song.

Foxes, bears, insects of all kinds.

Every moment was an orchestra, filled with calls and whistles.

A moment of silence would be frightening,

But a gust of wind would start the song once more.

I turned to him and said,

The forest sings. He smiled.
I created this poem when I was thirteen. It reminded me of living in a small town in Norway and the way I felt connected to nature. Life was slow and I had lots of free time to think and write. That's something I'm envious of now that I am living in a larger city.

Just  take a breath, love
Fill your lungs up.

Rest your head,
there's no sense in losing sleep.

You can break down,
Let  your worst out.

Lose your temper,
but you're not losing me.
