A Child
trapped in flesh and bones

A Child
chained in lies,
bound by norms,
trapped in a civilisation.

A child
chained in expectations,
bound by culture,
trapped in a society.

A child
Consumed by fear,
brianwashed and programmed,
trapped in flesh and bones.

A child
peeking through a window
waiting to be free!
waiting to be, just
A child.
deep down inside, the child is crying out in all of us.
screaming for  freedom.
I stood there,
getting lost in thought
as usual.
The familiar sounds of
children's laughter mixed
with random conversation outside
dances through my ears,
I barely notice.
I gaze deeper into the abyss
of absolutely nothing
as my thoughts slowly
consume me one by one.
Each one completely different
than the last.
"You okay over there?"
Sigh, back to reality...

Lydia
If you could just stay around me all of the time
that would be great
carry me when I'm feeling like I can't stand anymore,
hold the weight,
prop me up and shower me in confidence when I can't find any of my own
kiss my bruises
and form me into something beautiful
in your eyes I am always magnificent,
I need more of that in my life

maybe I am guilty of needing you too much
I always said I would never let my soul rely on another,
but
with you it's like breathing,
it's just too easy
He looked down sadly
Staring at his hands
"I'm covered in heart break."
I touched his arm
And he looked up at me
"I know."
"Its the color of your eyes."
"I know that, too."

Roses are red , violets are blue

Look I'm in love again,
But this time its not you.
