Survival

Your past is creeping up on you after all of these years,
you wish it would stop because all it causes is pain and tears.
But the darkness is the burden of all that is true;
all the things that have hurt you have made you YOU.

So many times have you lost your heart
to the detrimental work of the devil's art.
With eyes like clouds that won't stop raining,
you can't stop the pain flowing through your veins; how draining.

You're as fragile as a butterfly's wing,
and I know you're hanging by the thinnest string.
But you are here. You are brave. You are alive.
And you're going to make it through the storm and survive.

Shards of memories
Are all that's left in me.

I couldn't remember your smile
From the pictures you're in
They'll all peculiar to me.

What happened to me
When I was a kid
I couldn't seem to remember
Anything vividly anymore.

I guess the pain got me
I've lost my past
And sooner or later
I'd lose my future.

I don't have much time left
My energy is draining
I can feel my soul withering
Away from my body

Is there a cure
For loss of memories
A way to maybe pick the shards up
And glue them together
To make me okay again?
It scares me to not being able to remember thing clearly these days. :(

A white dress
Floating across the nightly forest
Her half-closed eyes
Hollowly gazing through the trees
Into the distance.

The moon was reflecting
Her beautiful yet enticing physique

Her lips were chanting
Something unclear.

As she flew
Wandering the nightly forest
The sky chose to cry
And she hummed the azure to sleep
Her voice, melancholic
And perplexing.

A ghastly mist
Took place*
As the dawn rise
And the enigmatic white dress
*Vanishes from sight.
Sorry, I tried :)
That's the thing about poets
Where others see a storm
We are reminded that our hearts are not alone in their torment
Where others hear rain
We hear the whispers of a thousand forgotten dreams
Where others feel cold
We feel ice piercing into our souls making us bleed out all of our secrets

That's the thing about poets
Only the beautifully tragic can understand them

Let the light be taken away from the night and let your radiance outshine the sun. The celestial bodies are of no compare to you. The light of your love blinds me and you walk with footsteps as light a summer breeze. I long to hold you and to feel the warmth that your love projects. Flowers bloom in your presence and lives are changed because you have passed by. To know you is to love you and to be placed under your spell. You have stolen the moon from the heavens and replaced it with your smile.

Darkness

I have this dark thought,
Deep,
Down inside.
I tell no one,
Hoping it will get better,
But it doesn't,
It only gets worse.
The more I push it away,
The darker it gets,
The more realistic it becomes.
I made it one of my options,
A very possible option.
I think about it every day,
But I can never actually do it,
No matter how bad I want to.
I promised myself,
I would stay here for you.
