Queen of the Highway
i got into my car hurriedly
Wednesday, Thursday, saturday
(i chose to walk on friday)
so it wasn't until i had to wait out the rain in my car
sunday, 12 pm
that i looked over,
fully immersed in the scent of your favorite perfume
half expecting you to materialize from the cloud of fragrance occupying the passenger's side
and in my haste from the days previous,
i wasn't yet aware of the tiny pin you left in your place
before dashing out into the city streets
a bobby pin
that must have escaped the locks that touched your skin
it made mine crawl
to think of an object blessed enough
from the graces of an atheist's god
to be given the opportunity
to touch a being so holy
and there i sat
in a parked car,
cursing everything that made me into the awkward, 5 ft. 8
man i am
longing to be close enough to her
so that i might
smell the scent of lavender and honey
that lingered from her embrace
but instead,
i am the stalky man who can not seem to say goodbye
a letter exert from a man who i do not know and never did

Hello World
People can be so f-ing annoying
If ****** was legal that would be good for me.
Get out of my business.
Get off of my personal space.
Don't talk to me.
It will make me hate you less.
My work space is my work space not yours.
Parent's shouldn't decide for us.
Yeah I write poetry as I rant.
A glass half empty.
Thats my view,
and you.
Get out too

Our Christmas tree.

this is,
my Christmas tree,
not matching a thing,
really,
ornaments,
from years ago,
to lights that don't all work,
you know,

this,
is,
our,
Christmas tree,
a little broken,
like our family,
presents underneath,
are less each year,
as ones i love,

disappear.

this is our Christmas tree,
a little dead,
but still pretty,

this is my Christmas tree,

and its,
a lot like,
me.
don't get to close to the twinkle lights i'm sure they'll bite

When you came in
my life
I cried
The ache in my gums
made me search ways
to pull you out
and throw away

But when I started losing you
slowly
one by one
Again, I cried
I thought I lost something,
I needed most

Now the holes you left behind
were filled with stronger bones,
and nobody knows
whether having you
has its pros and cons

But sometimes past
of me with you
pierced into my present

and made me realize

You were there
to give me
softest laugh of my life,
memories of which
can make me smile
till I die
Baby teeth are something that will come in our life but will not stay. They are the sweet memories of our life…like school days, college days, bunking classes, night out with friends or sometimes chatting over stupid things for long hours.
As we move on in life, sometimes we think baby teeth were not needed. Why they came in our life. But look into pics of those not so wisely spend days with friends. I am sure, you will smile and happily miss those days
Hope you understand now why you had baby teeth, when you had to lose them.
Your smile will never look that good with strong teeth as those are with your baby teeth

A flight of three crows
added to
a dense grey day

Next add four
iconic conifers
as high as the sky
eternally ******* down

These things are
always in my sight
through my window
on this wet world

Multiply all of this
by a sweet daughter
who makes me proud
and raise the whole
to the power of a strong woman
who carries us all
on her back

The equation produces
a result that I am 95 percent certain
equals happiness
though the confidence interval
is wide

And this result
sweet as it is
and as uncertain as it is
will outlive me
leave a faint echo in time
an echo that will bounce off a star
and finally be found
gripped in my shriveled paw
long after the epiphany
nowhere near paradise
somewhere short of
the end of the line

This is a moment of happiness
stolen from time
hijacked by a fugitive
from civil society

I'll hold it close
until death pries it
without mercy
from my hand

Leaves it as a blessing
and a curse
for all who come after

Take the blessing.
Leave the curse.
That's the advice I give
with my dying breath.
And I leave this to you
from the generosity
of my heart.
With a nod to
the scant traces
of God's grace
that I find on these pathways
of travail.

Never lost.
Never found.
Always present
and generous
to all.

Be that.
I write from Western Oregon in a year that is wet even by Oregon standards.

Shocker.

in need to come out of shock received today,
after a flight you lend in someone house...
after a while you are with someone in your place.
and all the while like stupid guy,
i sit and wait next to your house,
for you to call or just to text.

you said you feeling dizzy, coughed and stuff,
i thought that must be serious, i must to come
tomorrow is my flight, make sure that she is alright,
by dropping all i go the whole way long.

so here i’m knocking on your door,
i wasn’t welcome there, was just intruder.
i never thought to go and knock,
they said: she is waiting for you.

you open door and saying hi, on a couch someone’s guy
you looking fresh, your hair is wet..
lost all my words, lost all my thoughts
couldn’t reflect of who i’m,
what was i’m doing here and where i'm

i had a question in my head:
who am i to you?

**you showed me there.

You've got a choice to make.
Go vote, and let your voice be heard,
for there is much at stake.

Stand up and spread the word.
Your country counts on you.
Get to your ballot box and vote.
Go and express your view.

Don’t sit at home and sulk.
Your future is at stake.
Get out and make your presence count.
Go vote, for goodness sake!
