love is a funny thing, it's true
sometimes it seems made up
until it happens you
until you find yourself in a crowded room
and you realize , suddenly
that maybe this world was made for just two

If I am the water,
and you are the land,
then we, sweetly,
shall meet upon sand.
Where water seeps into the land
and where land embraces the water. Each within there freedoms
to come and go.

Wrote this one a while back but never got around to posting her here :)

I really now miss those old pair of shoes
although I had others from which to choose;
we would both be seen as a handsome pair
and they were the shoes I preferred to wear.

We'd mostly walk about each day in two's
and liked nothing to ever hide our views;
they were always so willing to comply
without any questions of how or why?

Once or twice I also had them repaired
as those old shoes became a bit impaired;
together with a good polish and shine
they would both look like new again in time.

I often wondered how long they would last
going by some others had in the past;
it seemed that at least for a good while yet
they would never cause me to feel regret.

Though it was so unexpected one day
they'd been left somewhere and taken away;
I didn’t recognize it at that time
but they were the object of someone’s crime!

I now recall that day with a sad heart
due to circumstances right from the start;
how I'd put them on and gone for a walk
then see people look and begin to talk.

It never occurred to me some would steal
the things covering each foot’s sole and heel;
there must be some people in this world who
are jealous of what shoes you're wearing too!

It's been a while.
I've been around one too many
Too many times to see any
The shapes all meet the same ending
And it's been a while.

I'm coming down
The mountaintop was kinda nice
But I really hated all the ice
I could see it all, even my vice
But now I'm coming down

I'm in the valley
I missed the walking in between
The subtle smell and the dew's sheen,
Missed people who know what I've seen
I'm back in the valley.

But I'm not alone.
The valley's big enough for two
Two people both of whom
Like to say "I'll stay with you"
No, I'm not alone.

Cut me like a rose that has been left
With it's final thorn,

Cut me like a pair of scissors flying through
The mist,

Cut me like the razors on the fence of
Where your heart lies,
But please don't tell that your heart lies,
Tell nothing but the truth so help you,
Deep tears when I bled you,
Lost in meadows when you left me,
Is there any place in this world where I'm suppose
To forgive you,
I put with so much ****,
For me just to forget you,
So easily,
You forgot me so easily,
So cut me with the paper on the counter
Of my home,
There's more precious than being left
Alone.

Who told you that we're strangers?
here me out,
this might sounds crazy
no, actually this is beyond crazy

but we've known each other
in the time before us
we've rely ourselves
leaning on one another
for as long as every pairs are made

like the bee to the honey
like the sun to the earth
inside the galaxy of ghosts
through that blackhole in space

maybe that is why the way
I speak your name rhymes
with the way your heart pulsing
and the moment you call out mine
synchronizes my breathing lungs

The one thing you probably don't realize
is that when you decided to chose yourself
above us—what we had and what we were
I forced myself to choose me, too
and when I did, I was crawling above the damages
of what remains from our love
step by step until I break
cause baby we both know for sure
that if we stay 'friends' or whatever you call it
I'll be the only person who's irrationally staying in love
and you won't give a **** about that
Funny, we are a pair of selfish people
who's saving ourselves by hurting others
yet we're unable to stay together

and in the world of unknown,
the boy sat alone,

he was so much on his own,
and he wanted a friend so bad he was willing to make a clone,

and he thought more about making a friend in his mind,
because he didn't know his own cline,

and when he saw her,
chills went up his chine,

she made jaws drop,
and sweaty chins,

and you imaging what her love was like,
like raw sugar cains,

and you give me so many pains,
in all my veins as you come closer,

are you walking to me? does someone care?
do you want to stop being alone and be like, umm... **pairs?

Sometimes I sit and stare
At my grandparents
Admiring the love they share.
It's beautiful
And true
Evident
In everything they do.
It's a relationship
To be jealous of
To strive for
To look for
Not many of us find it
But the lucky ones do.
They were young
He was wild
She was innocent
But something in them mixed
Now it's forty years later
And their kids had kids
They make me believe in love
And look forward to the future
I see the possibilities
Never-ending
Always there
I hope someone will love me
Like they love each other
To be like my grandparents;
The perfect pair.

Dear one,
as desired,
meticulously
corrected
the mistakes
you made,
one by one.
In the process
added my own,
do I need to tell?
I take refuge
in the thought
that it was expected
when you chose
me for this job.
All I can say is this:
we complement
each other;
but perfection
is the mirage
we relentlessly
search in this desert.
