Wilted rose rotting in the garden
Winters approaching the ground has hardened

hunched by little garden stone

No one thinks that rose is pretty
Stands bent over in the city

All the cars go past the rose
Watching it as it doesn’t grow

Petal falling out a day at a time
Wondering if that rose could have been mine

We're almost touching.
we were walking side by side,
you're talking about cabs in your hometown.

We're touching but not quite.

and for the first time in a long while, I felt so fragile.

i was staring at the night's sky
and noticed the poetic beauty
in knowing that if you want to see a shooting star
you have to go to darker places
where there is less light
to view such an event

a being that is easy to anger
