When your footsteps falter and slip
Hold on to me
If your eyes fill with tears
And the future seems blurred and distant
I'll be there to take your hand
You may not see me
But you'll feel me there
Right beside you
Always
So hold on to me

How dare you push aside your most precious possession?
Do you not understand its value?
Its rarity? Its unique and original gifts to you?

It's perfectly clear that you don't understant.
What you hold in your hands is a treasure,
A treasure that is not commonly found,
And once lost, a it's impossible to find again.

Yet you treat this treasure like an afterthought to fools gold.
You treat this treasure as a stepping stone to something better,
When I think you know that there truly isn't anything more valuable than what you already have.

Take time, heed these words.
Youve come close to losing this precious possession once before,
And there is no way you'll regain it should you come close once more.
So tread carefully.

Best not lose the best blessing that you have ever received.
Some people don't know how lucky they are.
I need your lips

So I'll catch them by their
Silken wings

Mid flight
Riding the wind
Of your words
And mine

The 2500 km between us seems unreal,
when the picture of you in my mind, almost tangible,
keeps me grounded on most days.
Trekking across the corporate bog clinging to dreams of a country life,
with a peculiar combination of smug sheepishness,
provoking instincts to ravish or protect, I cannot decide.
The way you have with words is supernatural,
because your eloquence leaves me hypnotized,
the best case of spellbound I have ever been.
You had me at your first email,
keeping me sane and driving me insane,
you are, my favourite kind of perfect.
You've managed to lower all my guards,
breakdown all the walls, and
gather up a life's worth of insecurities into a ball.
Just as I stopped walking around on tip toes,
you've shattered it to a million shards,
and now I'm lying bleeding on the floor.
I'm drowning in air, waking up to a nightmare,
lost in my mind, paralyzed in my senses,
so much for believing in second chances.
Touché,
for perfectly blind siding me,
I couldn't save myself.

"How did you sprain your ankle?"
"I fell in love, hard."

Sam
had someone walk in
and you just freeze
because their stunning beauty
took your breath away...

The marigolds had inspired me to add black eyed susans to my garden. Their yellow petals were enticing and their black centers lured me in. There was just something about them that kept me coming back to tend to them, to waste my time in order for them to flourish. The marigolds I had previously planted had died due to my neglect, but I found I didn't miss them much when my attention was focused on the black eyed susans.

Furious, I shook my fist at God
and said,
How could you allow this!

With an eyebrow raised,
God answered:
*I could ask you the same question.
I wonder how often I am the cause of my own problems.

The Silence
The class begins
The hell breaks free
This chemical knowledge
Burns straight through me
I have one quest
To pass one test
But even so
My victory is
Short lived.
