Bent over the painted lines of her road.
Stood a black feathered crow
peeling back a tendon of flesh,
Like a strand of red twizzler candy,
from the tannish white fur
of a dead bunny.

she thought this was cute.

"AWW! THEY'RE KISSING!!"

Her daddy did not correct her.

This memory, he revisits every time she brings a new boy home.
Debates internally,
the tipping scales that balance ignorance and optimism.
If maybe he should have explained the beauty in death, rather than let her beleive her illusions.
The beauty in nature, the circle of life.

Like a cat, she brings home dead animals

Like the owner of a cat,
He is unimpressed.

Maybe if he told her the bunny was dead, she would stop offering herself to the crows.

I do not find this path familiar,
It does not appear on the map.
I keep walking this path,
afraid to look back.

I need to be pointed in the right direction.
I'm not fit to walk alone.
I need to be put on a guided path
or forever I will roam.

As I continue walking,
in the middle of the fork in the road an elderly man stands alone.
His beard as white as snow, with a tannish skin tone.

I ask him if he could point me in the correct direction, as to which path will take me to a better future.

He looks up at me with watery eyes and says "I cannot help you, for I am lost too".
I don't know

her vanilla dress
lay against the grains
of the tannish sand.

her eyes match the sea,
the whites of her eyes
watch the pebbles in her hand.

the waves brush against her feet
as she runs away laughing
her smile shines so bright.

not a gray cloud in the sky
on this lovely sunny day
where the clouds are pearly white.

No life for life for life without life is lifeless
LORD, without you I'm helpless
Make me your ornament, your neckless
At this moment, I can't fear less

Unless my S is selfless than selfish
I'm blemish, good image I tannish with ish!
I'm famished without you
Intoxicate me with your brew
Let my cloudy sky be blue

Queue goodness mercies and blessings
I'll learn my lessons
My evil inclination lessen

That I give my all to my GOD
I'm even, I'm odd
Blunt but sharp as sword
Oh ETERNAL WORD

That I may never loose sight
Help me keep a stainless white
And attain the expected height
THY resonating light
THY loving spite

THY worthy Life I seek as I despise mine for THINE sake.
That THINE may be mine in afterlife when I wake
