I fall
away
to remain
together.
This is
my way.
To hold
my breath
before
diving deeper.
To hold
my bones
just a little
closer.
This is
how I know
I am whole.
When
I have
nowhere
else to go.
No one
else to
rely on.
I count
on my
own soul.
It might
lead me
through
the snow
and cold,
but I know
it will
always
lead me
back
home.

Orion stirs my soul to write
To look into the eyes of the sky and see
To hear the distant howling moon
To reach beyond the silhouetted trees
Until I stand above all this
On either side of the pinnacle roof
Oh yes, like you
I've climbed my whole life to reach this height
To stare back into the stars anew
How you look at him, would look at me?
Orion in the sky so high
Though no man is a burning star
But a constellation
For he is connected to the flickering flame
Which burns for you

Endlessly...
With perception ever turning through
O-Ri-ooonnn!

Thin like the willow
Grey as the dove

Quiet as the wind beneath which pesters the cat floats the wings and sweeps the city streets clean of debris

Dark as the asphalt
Soft as the paws

Lean like meat
Old like soil
And slick like oil as it drips from beneath

Shaking like the bedrock
The running water whips

Damp as the corners
And dry as your eyes
It slips

And where asphalt meets the mossgrown bricks
Corners are placed and worlds collide

And the man within is locked away
Within the metaphorical city street

Would the Central Park I know and love, return to me?
In all such glory

The Willow trees
Must go.
I'm not even a soldier, yet I have fought my own battles
Conquering some territories without a single commander
I'm not decorated, yet I have earned my very own titles
Enjoying all royalties, God Almighty has been my provider
I'm a man but beyond all measures, I'm mighty blessed.

I'm not even an astronaut, yet I have touched the deep skies
Soaring the galaxies and seeing beyond my very own dreams
I'm not even wealthy or connected, yet my needs God supplies
Touring many kingdoms and eating cakes topped with creams
I'm just a man but beyond all measures, I'm mighty blessed.

I wasn't considered a writer, yet I wrote inspirational quotes
Inspiring mortal souls to wake up, wise up and fight to the end
I'm not even a laureate, yet I produced classic iambic notes
Encouraging people to live on, move on and never ever bend
I'm just a man but beyond all measures, I'm mighty blessed.

I'm a man who writes not for glory, but for a very deep cause
Awaking the slumber souls of all faded dreams to take a flight
I am just a nomadic poet endeavoring to inspire without pause
Hoping to help those with aspirations and desires to just fight
I'm just a man but beyond all measures, I'm mighty blessed.

Standing on a secluded cliff,
Turning my eyes to the sea.
I try to net with the smallest sniff
What freedom and oblivion may be.

The waves crashing onto the rocky shore,
Each one inevitably fading away;
no longer being part of the bore,
but instead washing over the bay.

I wonder how it feels giving up to the stream;
My lungs filled with endless devotion.
For I realize the waves crashing to be redeemed
Don´t matter as long as they're part of the ocean.
