Moon glistens knowingly in the inky water
watching her pale body sink
the murmuring of night birds       woven
                               into hair of embers extinguished
sooty yet even soot is beautiful, to Moon.
eyes fixated on the navel of the pond
navel of the worlds' doings, of beginning of life & death
a prayer escapes in the whisper of willow trees
into the arms of Night's gentle air.
the pond itself is prayer, the water
giving life forth in Moon's embrace;

the woman glistens knowingly in the inky water-
eyes as steady as Moon's rays of borrowed light
body, a temple of angles and soft circumference
glistening knowingly in the inky water
of Moon's embrace & the willow's whispers.
last night's dream in verse.
i like it, don't know where it came from, but i like it.
I'm so cold today
but this
can't be
it's
summertime

I touch my arms
they are
warm
I touch my legs
they are
warm
I touch my lips
they are
a little
cold

I don't feel right
my heart don't
feel right

I put my hand
over my
heart
It's still there
but it also
feels a little
cold

Maybe I'm just
getting
a
cold heart
finally

Loneliness
My constant companion
A friend I befriended from my childhood
That sticks with me through thick and thin
No matter where I go
Who I am with
It never let goes off me

Loneliness
A core memory
I’ve relived a countless times
That was responsible for the tears I’ve shed
No matter how many tears
How many hours of therapy
It still hurts

Loneliness
An inevitable emotion
I have stopped running away from
And instead embraced
Because no matter how painful it can be
I always find myself in the end
Art to me, is a release.
Music keeps the peace when I’m in pieces
I dance to express, not impress
and I write - to destress.

They say poets are either sad or in love
and it’s true, I write poems
about people
who may never even read them.

I write about different stories
and different phases of my life
each one is basically a diary entry
- because this, this is for me.

When I write,
I am honest with myself
it is a form of self-help
it helps me figure out what I feel,
it also helps me heal
I get my emotions out,
and I realize the things
I’m too afraid
to
say
out
loud.
Little that I know
that I was lost when
I could find no one around
To seek within me took lot of time
And the song that I listened too,
Over and over again
I came to know that
the singer had died.
It was shocking to me
When it came to light!

The tunnel seemed
unexpectedly too long
Expected to be patiently impatient
For the things I have never known.

Now I stand still
Let me know
Let me take the lead
And fear no more
Let me be me
To see how it goes
No more hestisation
Let me fall into the unknown ocean
And reveal it into splishes
and splashes
And enjoy the waves
As it goes!
A tribute to DJ Avicii whose music I still love. His untimely expiry shook the world. My life has ups and downs like all of you here. Hoping to stay here longer and read all of your precious poetry. Here I always feel like home. Yes, I am back home in hp. Hope all of you are doing well. Life is so strange and unexpected. Take good care of yourself all of you.

we grow together
quickly,
like juanita
like phillip
your plants,
we laugh at the sun
were kept up by the moon
we throw ourselves into crises
we burn oursleves out, until
we are just souls
were still kept up by the moon
we still laugh at the sun
like your plants,
like phillip
like juanita
quickly,
we grow together
a crush
becomes fondness
what next
i wonder

When you wouldn't hear my words
I tried to show you with my actions,
You just stopped looking at me.
Open your eyes please

You chewed me up and spit me out
Like the piece of gum you chew
After a cigarette.

She doesn't even know
You started smoking
Again.
me is you
you are me
for a while it felt  to be

bliss and shine
we were fine
sailing on life‘s endless sea

came some storms
ship got worms
wrecked on islands we can‘t see

you are you
I am me
lonely lovers they shall be
