SAD
Sparkling, silvery, shades of grey.
Skin, shivering, brain of dismay.

Trees, trancing, bare naked sky.
Patiently, pondering, preparing to fly.

Wind, whistling, a dancing swoon.
Sounds, serenading a sparkling moon.

Secret , system of the seasons.
The rhythm of winter needs no reasons.

Seasonal affective disorder,
Justify this infective inorder.

Rise and fall

So is the motion of the seas,
So is the wind among the trees.

So is the breeze upon my back
So is the hope, for not I lack.

So is the snow that winter brings,
So is the water in earthly springs.

So is the leaf of autumn's call,
So is the grief of tears that fall.

So is the sun of early June,
So is the blush of fields in bloom.

So is the challenge of deep within,
So is the beauty in everything.

Light
andydaly Jul 2017
Into the darkness, I roam.
Fear does not follow.

Alone I stand in the black abyss.

My light shines bright,
My heart, aplomb.

I wander into the deep,
My soul, complete.

Twilight
andydaly Jul 2017
A pale moon rises o'er the east,
pulling and pushing the waves beneath.

I walk on the cusp of this gentle tide, with each passing ripple my footprints subside.

I gaze at the glimmering lifeless stone, I wonder how it stands in the clouds on its own.

I stare as it crawls into the west, chased by a light that brings the days next.

Fortune
andydaly Jul 2017
What will I see,
When I turn to a ghost.

Things with no price tag,
Are worth the most.

A night sat under the sky,
No paper could ever buy.

In the mountains from tree to tree.
For fortune, not will I plea.

I'll keep my wealth in me,
In nature I'll ever be.
