Sometimes I'll go for walks
long walks
down long roads.

Sometimes I'll have a nap
not a long nap
and just dream.

Sometimes I'll read a book.
a big book
one that takes me weeks.

Sometimes I'll phone a friend
a close friend
one I left behind.

And other times I'll just sit and think
for hours
about you.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

She sits on her own
Watching strangers walk on by
Pen poised to tell tales.

She makes them her friends
And imagines their stories
Looks into their souls.

The words get written
Turning real strangers into
Immortal poems.

She sits all alone
With her imagination
Never on her own
Sometimes,
all that one needs is a friendly face
that they haven't seen in a while
to remind them of
how much there is
to value in life.

It's determined not
By your flow of words
Nor the rhymes
That makes a rhythm
Those are countless

It's by the courage
You simply give
To the new ones
For that shows
The love of poetry

Best Poets Are Among Us
It's painful when I don't get encouraged.  Be the great poet and never pass other poet's poems.  Like Or comment,  It Counts

This drum set is almost complete
This rhythm
This backbone
This beat
Where are you now Keith Moon?
Where are you when we need you?

These cymbals speak to me so deeply
This music
This note
This history
Come back Nick Mason

A warm up
Do you remember
when we first met,  when we first shared a look?
But not just any look..
the look where you glance at some one for the first time
and realize there's something more there.

The way you can't look away,
like there is a connection there...
that you didn't know could exist
-
But it does

now.

Now every time,
we share our presence ..
I can't help but look at you when you're not looking.
There is something deeper there
something you're not telling us,
something you're not telling me..

You try to hide it behind a mask of funny and sarcastic comments,
which I can see right through.

And then when you catch me looking at you..
I don't look away.
Simply because I want you to know I'm here
I'm present.
Share your darkest and deepest thoughts with me.

I want it
- I want it all -

Infatuation is a funny thing,
its short lived, so they say
but weather it's for
10 minutes
or
10 years
I want to share this moment with you.
With just you..

Because little time spent opening up with you
is better than

no time at all
