The grip is cold but gentle.
I feel the pressure, it's a true gamble.
One bullet in the chamber.
Words that slowly fade to a whisper.
If I wait to pull the trigger I may miss,
If I shoot now, the recoil may **** me.
I have had some target practice.
I guess I must be at my boldest.
Three deep breaths, four, five.
I need more oxygen If I'm to attempt a revive.
My pupils dilate as I decide.
BANG.
It's quite scary, the choice between waiting and having a chance of missing the opportunity. Or taking a risk and having a chance of ******* it up.

Love, I've been missing you,
On our time, I've been gripping to,
Underlined, by the things you do,
I'm inside out.
Sometimes, I tell myself I should just let go,
Amplified, by every single one I know.

Your time will come slowly,
For now you must let the empty space taunt you.

Your grass will grow slowly,
For now you must plant the seed in the baron land below you.

Your heart will beat slowly,
For now you must tap the drum softly beside you.

Your love will heal slowly,
For now you must be patient and watch the tide take away the pain that troubles you.

A patient man is a judicious wolf.

You're gone.
I’m shattered.
Perfect little pieces,
of self broken.
Reflecting each side,
the hero that fought,
a poet that was adored,
the helpless romantic,
even the sadist.
All of me was for you.

Sweeping up whats left.
Assemble with glue and tape.
I am not perfect,
but I still love you.

Cné

Ebony
silhouettes
inked
by a dying sun,
portray
lovers embraced
in
the synergy of one.

Inseparable
dreams
slowly
morph into one …
subservient
to the
whims
of the compliant
heart’s
drum.

And
azure pools reflect
a
tie-dyed denim sky,
as
enchanted dreamers
seal
their love with a kiss nearby.

Twinkling
stars confetti
the
emptiness of space.
And
as darkness descends,
shadows
swallow all of the light’s trace.

Reality
pauses …
as
time seems to stand so still
to
the depths of their very souls,
motionless
they swim.

I’m not protecting myself
When I tell you no
I’m protecting you

From trying to reach
My head in the clouds
Just to come tumbling back down

Or trying to swim down
Into the depths of me
And not having enough oxygen
To breathe

Or getting lost in the
Labyrinth of my mind
With no exit sign

Despite what I want
I won’t let there be
Casualties because of me
A poem
should be
like a photo
of beauty

a portrait
of myriad wonders
light and shade
of charming colours

a voice
from the heart
to abide in memory
never to part

a song
that shall ring
through endless time
loved by every being.
