My romeo
You've been all I got
All ferocity I had
Phantasm all over my head
All I hear is your moan in my bed
A pure lust to be said
And a first blood to be shed
is it okay to be you modern mia khalifa?
and makeout in the sofa
Till the endless night
and ends in a cuddles so tight
mellifluous sound  from his mouth
when all I can do is to shout
a night to remember
till I spend my life with him forever
Zero Nine Aug 2017
Laze on the couch, sideways,
watching ants attack waed on the gift box
top, Magic, worst thing to teach kids
with addictive tendencies, those who fill
holes with things they hope won't deteriorate
in time after all of the money they paid
Bills stack, get paid, too, but the space left
is huge, too gaping for the remaining
messed up bunch of tight, clinched presidents
Never thought Washington bought ice cream
and got fat, or thought that Jackson dug green,
pipe cleaned, choked on **** til oxygen be
came an old means, but here I slink, giving them
to family, so I can recede comfortably on
an old futon with broke dreams, with full sink,
two XLs, to be honest, it feels too real,
feels too deep, feels like I best hold home
and blow dro, sleep to the X-bone beep.
yeah yeah yeah

but if I were healthy, I doubt I'd be writing.

[intro/verse 1]
Follow the ruts
To learn the art
Of shattering one's
Diamond heart

[pre-chorus]
the errs in flair
will flare the prayer
take one more step
if you really dare

[chorus]
the church and it's chairs
will be burning in flames
the frame of the graves
will fade in the darker shades
as the human race
start hating their faith

[verse 2]
Hear the howls
From the demons
Hear the owls
Late at night
Singing lullabies

Unsaid secrets
Unseen crimes
Will fear them all
Walls‘ve eyes
For your lies

Wolves will cry
With both eyes
Closed at night
Showing the signs
Of ending lives

[bridge]
We will all
Typify
The disaster of
Human kind
As the day and light
Will all die

[chorus]
the church and it's chairs
will be burning in flames
the frame of the graves
will fade in the darker shades
as the human race
start hating their faith

"I just want you to be happy." I type, my breath uneven, tears threatening to spill. I knew it was going to be her. It was always going to be her. I never even stood a chance. "So and so is typing..."

So innocent then,
No predators or shaming,
No clamoring for likes or retweets,
Just outdoors and skinned knees,
Rarely stopped to disrupt the flow
with a self taken photo.
Imaginations abound,
Once a cowboy now a sailor,
tomorrow to be continued.
Friends for life not followers for a day,
Memories in mind
Not a timeline
Lucius Furius Aug 2017
O Babylon! Your God is a sport-utility vehicle, a VCR, and a two-car garage!
You delight in images of killing and artificially-large-breasted women!
Your arteries are clogged with Big Macs and a thousand pieces of Kentucky-Fried Chicken!
Your God is Technology.  Your God is Progress.

Your skyscrapers rise to the heavens!  Your astronauts fly to the moon!
You clone sheep! alter genes! make a mountain into a parking lot!
Your fields flower!  Your grain-bins groan under the weight of the ripe corn!
But the land of your soul is a desolation.

O God of Henry Ford, the Wright Brothers, and Bill Gates,...
All the nations adore Thee!
(Pretty soon they'll be ordering Papa John pizza by cell phone in New Guinea....)
Your God is Mammon.

After the movies, after the Quarter-pounders-with-cheese, super-size fries, and a large Coke,
after the evening news, the Hostess cupcakes, golf, beers, and swimming 20 laps,
the hunger will be the same as the day you first felt it, O Babylon!
the thirst of the soul, O Babylon!
