Sweetly saying sounds so soft
She sings so secretly simple songs
Soothing silence's savage sting
Shattering suspicions
Swallowing shadows
Severing stillness
So softly
So slowly
She serenades scared souls still sleeping so sound
Sunlight shall shine
Soon so soon
Splashing so swiftly
Submerging still slumber
So sleep
Sweet souls
Sleep softly, sleep safe
Sunlight shall shine
Soon
So soon.

The night is coming
and the birds are flying,
they will sleep
and we will watch
at sunset
inside the lighthouse.

The nightingale will sing
when the moon comes
and then you will hear
a lullaby to sleep
and have beautiful dreams
all of them laughing.

The night is coming
and the birds are flying,
they will fall asleep
and at dawn
everyone will wake up
and then fly.

And we will wake up
after dreaming all night,
smiling for the birds,
these are rare moments,
at daybreak
full of euphoria.
Poem.
It was to be a kind of lullaby.
It was part of a story.

It's easy for me to write a song,
I hum the bars and sing along
Music stirring in my brain
That I can't release so I go insane

I just hope that by posting lyrics
Someone will know what I meant to do with it
That someone will have my music in their head
And that shared like telepathy will be the lullaby to bed
just had this conversation aha, and these words came to me :)    <3 you Karishma! :)

Quell your lust from night
while singing for the callous,
the cruel, the silent
Hush now my love
Care not of the world
For tonight we'll sleep
Forget all sorrows we keep

Hush now my love
For tomorrow will come
The throes we keep
We will bury deep

Hush now my love
The sun will soon rise
And with it gone our demise
Rest and be at ease in mother's arms

Hush now...
Keep still...
Close your eyes...
And I'll hold you...

'Til the sparks and morning light
And across another world
I'll keep you with me
'Til after this war, be'd both be free

Hush...
