it appears my infatuation hasn't passed.
your eyes are blue, so perfect, like the sea.
and in them there's a thousand stories
just waiting to be told.
you look at me with those sea blue eyes
and try to make it okay
but the truth is, you're not with me.
you're not here.
this was always just a dream.
tomorrow will come and i'll be forced to continue without you,
something i am not keen to do.
you promised me you'd be waiting for me after we finished this...
i really hope you keep your promise.
i've known enough loss to last a lifetime
i'm only afraid this lifetime is nearly ending.
but to save you, i'd do whatever it takes.
your blue eyes take me away,
i've decided to let the dream continue.
now kiss me, you fool,
and don't forget to keep your promise.
Well it was like 1am and I was just reading and so I was caught in the love story of that so it made me write a really sucky poem I apologize

You're the Wacky Wolf-man,
Tearing through our pages with a single huff.
Breathing life into us little piggies,
Blasting your way through the daily fluff.

You're the Word Wizard.
Leaving us in awe and in dribbles.
Waving your wand,
Conjuring magical and spellbinding scribbles.

You're the Living Legend,
Almost like a deity of some sort.
Garnering shiploads of admiration,
Through words of encouragement, banter and retort.

You're the Bad Boy Bard...
Never mincing your words.
Unconventional, you howl amidst the flocks...
You never did chirp like the birds...

You're the Minstrel Mobster,
Shooting your Tommy, never missing.
Flicking forward your fedora,
Strung lute ever smoking.

You're one Cool Cat.
Fending off haters with a bat.
Everyone just wants to be that.
Like a superhero whose symbol is a bat...

You're a Gem Generator.
Cogs and gears churning the jewels laid
Machine malfunction! My system's jammed!
Well I guess that's just it... Enough said!
Image of someone we all know...
We're all secretly thinking...
Even if it hasn't come to show
I chose to put it down in writing. :)

Hope this works!

Narcissus
I see you everywhere
The train, the street, at home and abroad
If the world was a Greek legend
The earth would be covered in bright yellow flowers

So close and yet away from shores we tread
That mass of grey so thick, there lies as dead
A foggy veil which blocks the way and sight
A ghostly form that fills all hearts with fright

Forever there, it lingers ever still
From very far, you feel its icy chill
In either dead of night or sunny day
It leads all sailors bold enough, astray

Yet I have seen her crossing part of it
I'm almost sure that we will never meet
Towards a land unknown, into the fray
She sails alone and casts the mists away

Reveal what lies beyond the smoky shroud
What wonders hides that huge, so steadfast cloud
Just lift the smoke atop the river deep
Unveil the realm where silently you weep

Come sailing down and take me there to see
A land whose gates have one and only key
I long to witness what it truly hides
Behold with my own eyes where she resides

Once upon a time
A bard told a tale so wonderful
So moving
That it was told and retold again and again
Across all nations
And in all tongues
This tale became the greatest myth
More believed in than any religion or god
It became a part of every culture
As important to our genetic make up
As any particles
As integral as breathing
Pumping through our very souls with each beat of our hearts
Yet this story's happy ending remains elusive
But such is the profound power of this yarn that men and women drive themselves to ruin yearning for its realization
And upon such an occasion are consumed by the fiery nature of the story never to be the same
This fable has a name
And it is Love.

As walked with the devil accept no fear.
Moans of pain affected only by a cowards ear.

Valleys light lit the darkest hour.
Through sands of time became sour.

Tides always turn nevertheless.
For our prolonged hiatus for the best.

The ones known by many I give thanks.
To those few who walk to meet the planks.

Frame by frame pages are torn.
For those are no longer sworn.

Only acquired by many past tense hate.
As we build our bridge for future date.

He conquer sight Long lived by one tale.
See as he will, guided to see no fail.

As his course viewd by multiple eyes.
All known why, in history he lies.

I wrote this back in 2010. The first poem I actually ever wrote.
