When Elijah comes again,
We'll all turn the page of sin,
He is not the Lord,
But a voice of awe,
Heaven above, earth below,
Fire within, ever to glow,
Divine life and love on Planet Earth,
One vision and one dream,
Amity and no more bigotry,
One global fellow humanity,
Ceasing hostilities, such sin,
When Elijah comes again.
Inspired by a book on Theology. Feedback welcome.

THE  GIFTS THE DRUIDS FORGOT...

The gifts the Druids  forgot,
Imagination or a load of rot?
Envisioning future along the track,
Looking forward, not looking back.
Miracles and prophet's dreams,
Mystic lands blessed by moonbeams,
Heroes and inspiring queens,
Appearing in transit, sight unseen,
Imagination or a load of rot?
The gifts the Druids forgot....
Feedback welcome.

I have received many gifts from God--
      *love

      hope
      understanding
      perseverance
      talents and skills

I have faced many storms
In this journey we called life
But my gifts are enough
To move on

I might have bigger problems
But my God makes the biggest miracles
*I am not afraid anymore
God is love. He provides everything.

I write my friends letters
Personalized to our shared experiences
I get them roses, pounds of candy
And tell them how beautiful they are

Some call me "the sweetest"
Or "the nicest they've ever known"
But I never believe it
I can't

These actions are normal to me
I give my friends and strangers gifts
To make their days brighter
Their smiles wider

Some yell when I deny their compliments
They don't understand
But how can they
When I don't myself

After I've been hated
Beaten
Abused for so long
How can I expect to be loved

The mental scars remain
From what my classmates did
What they still do
To bring down my spirits

So when given a compliment
I may smile
Say thank you
Or make an awkward gesture

But the thought that you took time
To say anything
Keeps my candle burning, continuing my life
To give more gifts to others

So to those who say thank you
Just two small words
Just know that the phrase itself
Makes me want to live more than anything

Like the breath of an infant
Blooming new each day
Sweet toiletries
Fresh fragrance
Life unfolds before us

Natural bounties
Fruit bearing
Baring flesh
Sensory experiences
Gifts given, again and again

Never prosaic
Supreme variety
All for me, for you
We must remember
When taking, to give

What is your gift?
Is it tons that you can lift
Are you a racer can you drift
On the track are you swift
In the water do you swim
Are you very good at gym
In chess can you check em
Can you bend it like Beckham
We all have talents
that we are given from birth
Some get em from their parents
but how much are they worth
They come in special package s
that you unwrap
Their like an extra baggage
better than table scraps
Some of us are good at gaming
or creating our own raps
Some of us are good at animal taming
or taking long naps
So remember in life
to hit that rift
Because your gonna appreciate
the same old gifts
We're all special in our own way.

Favours of the Gods
Maintainence of lofty gifts
