Leaning on the step-brother of an open window
The young marble vase gleamed with sadness:

The drops of the rain filled its heart
With sprinkles of its holy water.

“Do not help me
I was supposed to be filled
With blood.”

Really:

Blood,
   or Flood?
Is it Good?
        Goodbye,
                        then.

And to the thunderstorm outside
The hanging lamps sways

          And laugh:

A tragic suicide of cupped glass and weary light
In their own personal smoky sunset.

        And that is alright.
        At least for them.

What is expected then, from a bottled hope:
If what is taken has leaped in loyalty?

And what is expected from saviors and their teacups
If the one who took away demands harmony?

The three-legged chair hummed quietly
Of the joy it gets when it gets nowhere;

the old table insisted
For it to stay by the open door.

The open door wondered
And the windowed step-brother cursed;

About the vase and the light bulb
Also about the wrinkling crooked chair.

The reasoning behind their dedication:
The light to the lamp
The vase to the blood
And the seat to weary hearts.

Why, do you a—

Ah,
I forgot to get you
The soaked rope
That bonds us together.

This is the third Mother's Day that has come around since you perished.
The love that we felt for one another is something that I'll always cherish.
Out of all of the people on Earth, you meant more to me than anyone.
You were always there for me and I'm a privileged man to be your son.
You were very special and everybody who knew you, knows that is true.
You gave birth to me in 1971, I wouldn't even be alive if it wasn't for you.
Whenever people ask me how I feel about you, I'll always say "I love her."
Happy Mother's Day Mom, you were one of the world's greatest mothers.
Dedicated to Agnes Johnson (1948-2013) who passed away at the age of 64 on March 6, 2013.

Since you died, this is the second Mother's Day that has come around.
Since March of 2013, peace and tranquility aren't things that I've found.
You were one of the greatest mothers who ever lived.
You constantly thought of others, you always loved to give.
People have always loved you because you were so kind.
If people couldn't see how good you were, they were blind.
I still feel lost even though you've been dead for over a year.
I would tell you how much you mean to me if you were here.
My brother and I had to end your suffering by taking you off the respirator.
I still miss you like crazy even though it's been fourteen months later.
It was so hard to see you suffer and die.
You were one in a million and that's no lie.
You always bent over backwards to be good to me and my brother.
I'm very proud and was so lucky to have you for my mother.
Dedicated to Agnes Johnson (1948-2013) who passed away on March 6, 2013.

She was very cute with her curly hair and dimples.
The lady who I'm speaking of was Shirley Temple.
She starred in Curly Top and Stand Up And Cheer.
She starred in 60 films during her fabulous career.
It was so sad and tragic when she died in February of 2014.
She was the biggest child star that the world has ever seen.
Dedicated to Shirley Temple who died at the age of 85 on February 10, 2014.

When you were dead in Firecreek, it looked real.
That was brilliant acting and it took a lot of skill.
But sadly, now you're also dead in real life.
It has devastated your kids and your wife.

You were rich and famous but it didn't make you become a snob.
Everything you touched turned to gold, you always did a good job.
You were Jim Lindsey, Jeff Myrtlebank and Rosco Coltrane too.
Now you're in Heaven with Uncle Jesse, Boss Hogg and Lulu.
Dedicated to James Best (1926-2015) who died on April 6, 2015.

You starred in Worzel Gummidge with Jon Pertwee.
Sadly, you died in 2001 at the age of thirty-three.
You starred in Four Weddings and a Funeral and sadly, you had a funeral of your own.
You were one of the greatest actresses that Great Britain has ever known.

You also starred in Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit.
People loved you because you were sweet and cute.
You died over a decade ago of an acute asthma attack.
Sadly, you passed away and you won't be coming back.
Dedicated to Charlotte Coleman (1968-2001) who died on November 14, 2001.

Which is worse?
To be the one who leaves
Or the one who sees others leave
That is the question

The latter, in my opinion
To see the people you love, leave
And you continue doing the things
You always did, except

This time, there are holes
Holes where the people used to be
Holes where there could be new memories
Holes in your heart, for friends turned family

The hardest is to let go
Move on with your life
But the weekly reminder does not help me so
Only prompts me who isn't there
a dedication to my fellow secondary 4 sailors who are stopping for the national exams. definitely going to miss them a lot especially after all the memories we've shared. it's at this moment that i need to cherish everyone who's around me, especially my family, cos they are the ones who will ((hopefully)) help me keep my mind off the friends (who are practically family) who i won't be seeing in some time

During your life, you had three wives and three children.
It's sad because your family is feeling so much pain within.
A long time ago you served in the United States Army Airforces.
It's also sad because a couple of your marriages ended in divorces.
Besides being an actor, you were also an acting coach, College Professor, a musician and an artist.
You guest-starred nearly three hundred times in numerous Television shows and you will be missed.
Dedicated to James Best who died at the age of 88 on April 6, 2015.

Your last name said it all, you were the best.
Because of you, the entire world was blessed.
You have left this world at the age of eighty-eight.
Your life is something that we should all celebrate.

For six years you dazzled us as Rosco P. Coltrane.
You died but your reruns will continue to entertain.
You starred in a few episodes of Bonanza and twice on the Andy Griffith Show.
You entertained us for several decades and all of your fans hated to see you go.

Talent should've been your middle name.
It's not surprising that you found fame.
You starred in a Twilight Zone episode and in Firecreek.
You will never be forgotten because you were unique.
Dedicated to James Best who died at the age of 88 on April 6, 2015.
