Take me away from all the pain,
forget about the way my heart bleeds on your wings,
pretend that its only roses growing inside your soul
and that my tears are the soft monsoon of love
trickling down our bodies,
just take me to the skies with you
so that I may feel the essence of the clouds running through out my veins,
instead of the usual pain of insecurities.
Just make me feel perfect for once
because I'm not an angel like you
but I want to be
so take me with you
just once
please.
When the person you like is as innocent as a baby duck

Oh how I wish I was one of those souls,
who could carve a sonnet
from their blood
using the  instrument of a pen
to elicit such tangible tastes of their soul.
Sadly I find that my blood
can only spray shades of ashen melancholy
to dust the unwanted corners of your imagination
or perhaps in simpler terms
writing with my blood is
like unfurling a broken rose
already buried within your hands.
What can I do apart from
creating clichés into my
inspiration
or write poems
which are simply nonsensical.
I enjoy my style of writing but I just hope it will improve.

all those fictions
make each contradiction
though truth exiled beneath the books
but the healthy history looks

while you and me
under the same tree
not like a friend we see
as like a foe to be

this distance
that expanding constant
making a dark wall
which is as the sky tall

while you or me
from the opposite we see
the truth or lie
as we feel that never die

all those fictions
make each contradiction

when every morning bell
we feel either heaven or hell
but at the end of the day
when everything grew gray

both we seek peace
that is our teach
as the spiritual kiss
finally we miss

though truth exiled beneath the books
but the healthy history looks

This one goes to the real poets.
To those who decide to carry the world on their own.
To those who carry hell in their head and a graveyard of lost love stories in their heart
To the brave ones who fight darkness with darkness.
Tho those who the only answer they seek from a god is if there's eternal life for their loved ones, because they know there's no space for them in that paradise.
To those who know that suffering is the most humane feeling there is.
To those who loved and hated the wrong person.
This goes to Lorca isolated, hiding in a closet in New York.
To Unamuno craving to believe in something impossible.
To Quiroga drinking the poison of his sorrow at a hospital.
To Becquer and Espino for dying so young.
To Neruda for cheating on himself so many times.
To Machados' lost spirit.
To Marquez and his melancholic ******.
To Poe's tormented soul and his raven.
To Shakespeare and his Juliet.
To Dante and his story of woe.
This goes for the only beings who can live with a hell inside of them, and still manage to write heavenly things for those in need to read.
This one's for us.

Rain

Rain,
drops across the sliver panes of
a creaking window, sliding meticulously inside the
softened pores of my heart.
The droplets of the rain...graze my vision's confusion
for in one endless second
the oceanic clarity of a rain drop
spins its hidden secrets into
a
doze
of
blood.

"What's wrong with you?"*

That **** question
Destroys me every
Time someone asks
For I have these words
Waltzing in my head
But they cant seem
To get the steps just right.
They keep tripping
Over twisted imagery
Crawling across
Wilted floor boards.
Splinters sewing
Themselves into
Anything they touch
Keeping every hope
Of an explanation
Tangled together
As nonsense.

"Nothing. I'm fine."

I See You

I see you
Walking by that ledge
Just a little too slowly.

I see your eyes
Calculate the distance
To the ground.

I see your head
Bowing in defeat
As your mind begs to fall.

I see your back
Shattering as asphalt
Sews itself into your chest.

I see guilt
Waltzing across
Your exhausted smile.

I see you
Caged inside depression
You cannot seem to escape.

I see you.
Now you just need
To see that I am here.

I was once told
A girl like me
Cannot hope to succeed.

I was once told
A depressed girl
Never finds love in the world.

I was once told
A dream to travel
Will make me unravel.

I was once told
A child's every thought
Should always be taught.

But

My mother once told me
A girl like me
Will often succeed.

My mother once told me
A depressed girl
Can find love in the world.

My mother once told me
A dream to travel
Makes nightmares unravel.

My mother once told me
A childs every thought
Should be their own; never taught.
