I think of this world all day
When I open my mouth, I've nothing to say
Nothing to take this word away
It's clinging, it's hanging, it's here to stay.
(fat)
I think of this word at night
Is it why you can not hold me so tight
It promised and pleaded to make things right
So why do I lie rigid in fright?
(fat)
I think of this word inbetween
Insane as though it may seem
It haunts my each and every dream
Pulls life apart at the seam
(fat)
I think of this word when I'm with you
I say I'm fine
(it isn't true)
I need you
to STAY
to guide me through
I'm sorry
But really,
I do.

Sleepless nights and dreary days
Was this the only way?
Stained eyes and rampant thoughts
Not only truth has these visions brought

We saw too much, we learned too fast
It will never be left as the past
Warped realities and dreams misconstrued
A covenant is what was brewed

We endured these restless nights
Hoping this idea would set things right
Were these trips we took in vain?
Now we question : are we sane?

We saw too much, we learned too fast
Never knew what would last
Through the light and through the veil
We were shown darkness can't prevail

We were given that for which we prayed
Countless choices we never made
We should have never played this foolish game
Nothing will ever be the same

We saw too much, we learned too fast
Never did we guess what was cast
Fleeting remnants we cannot survive
I'm surely glad were still alive

Did we waste our time?
Driving down the darkness
Searching for an answer?
Hold me down
Be the one to keep me on the ground

Stay with me
Be the love I've never seen

You're my heart
You glue the pieces that fall apart

Just...Love me

A girl stands by the water, her long, tawny hair swaying with the wind. Her eyes mimic the color of the waves as they crash down onto the shore. Her mind is racing, but her face shows no sign of her mental strain...
A boy sits on the sand, running a hand through his shaggy, amber hair. His eyes mimic the color of the sand as his tears soak through each grain. His mind is racing, but his face shows no sign of his mental strain...
The girl turns around. And then...she sees him...
The boy looks up. And then...he sees her...

I really like the color teal, so I made an extremely short story that makes me think of that color.

The longer I stare into the mirror

The longer it stares back at me

The closer it is that I listen

The louder it is that it screams

The mirror looks on with wanting eyes

Reading deeper into the age

Looking past all of the written lies

In the reflection it displays

Lay your sleeping head, my love,
Human on my faithless arm;
Time and fevers burn away
Individual beauty from
Thoughtful children, and the grave
Proves the child ephemeral:
But in my arms till break of day
Let the living creature lie,
Mortal, guilty, but to me
The entirely beautiful.

Soul and body have no bounds:
To lovers as they lie upon
Her tolerant enchanted *****
In their ordinary swoon,
Grave the vision Venus sends
Of supernatural sympathy,
Universal love and hope;
While an abstract insight wakes
Among the glaciers and the rocks
The hermit's sensual ecstasy.

Certainty, fidelity
On the stroke of midnight pass
Like vibrations of a bell,
And fashionable madmen raise
Their pedantic boring cry:
Every farthing of the cost,
All the dreadful cards foretell,
Shall be paid, but not from this night
Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost.

Beauty, midnight, vision dies:
Let the winds of dawn that blow
Softly round your dreaming head
Such a day of sweetness show
Eye and knocking heart may bless.
Find the mortal world enough;
Noons of dryness see you fed
By the involuntary powers,
Nights of insult let you pass
Watched by every human love.

Merging into one
The Stars, The Moons, The Suns
Nocturnal creatures run
In their illuminescent spectrum
Subterranean surfaces
Hidden from the waves
Truly a cold
Cold-hearted grave
Still somehow we still manage
To get laid...

You can use my chest to hear the ocean.
Swim in my veins and I will sail your eyes.
The earth is our canvas as we remember our trees' growing;
Like leaves embraced by wind, we are whisked to the skies.
The joining of lips will stop Time's grip,
Because he decides: "I shall take them never;
Forever paired." Impossibly split, even if
Fates river were to drown our endeavors.
I would fight the harsh rapids, aided by my will
To have your soul again within my grasp.
Death before failure; I would cry a horrid shrill
If another won you with his beautiful mask.
All above is a fiction often recited
By my thoughts to my soul, so lonesomely reminded.
