Mystifying Chaos
Never fall for a damaged person because they'll lure you in. They'll captivate you with their mysterious past.
They'll tell you that they're broken beyond repair and then you'll make every possible effort to prove them wrong.
They'll scream, they'll yell, they'll howl, they'll yelp. . but somehow you'll become the cure for their pain.
You'll fix them up and believe that it's a permanent change. But their demons cannot be suppressed for long.
Their aura will always allure you and you'll end up being the victim.
Intentionally or unintentionally you'll fall in love with someone who feels nothing but numb.
And this vicious cycle will continue.. because now you'll become the broken person and someone else will fall in love with you.

The sky
It was blue
The one who did it
It was you.

You pushed
Away my clouds
You helped me live
With the voices so loud.

You made me see
The light of day
You helped me walk
and not run astray.

Your eyes
They light the dark
they keep me going
even with just one spark.

Your voice
It calms me
Not a like a crashing wave
but like a gentle sea.

The distance
although so long
i keep you close
you keep me strong.

The sunset
the most beautiful thing
But now my sunset
I will sing.
This is for a certain person, they know who they are. This is very different than anything I normally write, but I like this poem a lot.

before you, sad poems are all i know
words that bleed
pages blotched with tears

my poems were colder than snow
words that plead
torn pages of fears

i thought misery is all i need
to write poems from the soul
until you came

you changed my writing creed
this broken girl felt whole
now my poems will never be the same

thank you for changing the game
i thought sadness was the only reason why i can write songs and poems but you proved me wrong.

thank you, Jett Chuaquico.

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my *** of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
the three of us; then I sigh
for the moon cannot drink,

and my shadow goes emptily along
with me never saying a word;
with no other friends here, I can
but use these two for company;
in the time of happiness, I
too must be happy with all
around me; I sit and sing
and it is as if the moon

accompanies me; then if I
dance, it is my shadow that
dances along with me; while
still not drunk, I am glad
to make the moon and my shadow
into friends, but then when
I have drunk too much, we
all part; yet these are

friends I can always count on
these who have no emotion
whatsoever; I hope that one day
we three will meet again,
deep in the Milky Way.

I came across this incredible poem early November last year, in the height of my depression and it really hit home, I've read it a million times since. Maybe even a million and one

Birdy
I'd love to point you out
In the constellation of a crowd
As someone I used to know
A lover of long ago
And nothing more

Yet you were the biggest star
The sun at least
So how would I forget you

— The End —
