I thought i was moving on from you,

Until one day, someone asked me:
“If you had one wish, what would it be and for whom?”

And the first thing  I thought of was to waste that wish on you

If you love someone tell them;

If you love yourself, say that as well.

I took a walk in La Goulette yesterday
From the “Bridge-of-the-Casino” to the port.
The things I saw on my sun-bathing way
So simple they were, here is a report:
II
Sea snakes under a blue bridge did frolic
As hardware stores displayed paint in their windows.
The water snakes performed some dance symbolic
And the paint braved the dark rust from a distance.
III
And I, hastening to my liquid address,
Shot a side look at a man in a dress,
And hoped the blue water in the White Sea*
Would wash the wound bleeding in my memory.

The light touches
of the wind,
caress the blush
in reddened cheeks.

Gentle fingers abscond
with the moisture
in hapless tears.

Teasing playfully,
the obstinacy
of wayward strands.

Inciting a smile
from a heavy heart,
lifting off the anvil
that carry all fears.

The Rain

What could be more romantic
than the rain?
It whispers words of love
I longed to yearn.
Out-pours noises
secluding me away from time.
Runs these tingling sensations
like a lover on my side.

Whilst I grabbed
a cup of coffee,
I could travel my words
like music.
With every droplets,
the rain calls my name.
Sayin' love my dear
isn't made for free.
It's rainy season, and you're single. Oh well, let's make some poems.

it is safe to assume that my poetry will not make you love me back.
you can wash your hands of me,
but once i have tasted you my lips will spill sonnets about loosing myself in your voice until my throat is dry.
i will uncurl metaphors for your smile and the sun and
how they both pour golden light through the cracks in my ribs and into my heart,
until im empty enough to make room for you to fill me.
do not fall in love with a poet.
better, do not let a poet fall in love with you.
we make nasty habits of bleeding ourselves dry to make enough ink out of our blood to fill the page.
do not let a poet fall in love with you,
unless you crave an immortal soul,
because we will write about you on the walls on the inside of our coffins.
i dont look for you anymore

The forgotten one
Their bodies intertwined
Their hearts beating in unison
She is sound asleep
He is holding her close
Lightly he places kisses on her back

Those sweet sounds she makes
Feeling her warm skin on his lips
She inches closer to him
Eradicating any space between them
He whispers in her ear
"I love you sweetheart"

Though when she wakes
She won't remember
Though he won't forget
It's his piece of heaven
His peace and true happiness
Comes at night with her in his arms
