My eyes are burning
And my *** needs some space
This kid is staring at me
He has a big grin on his face
For 6 hours he's been awake
Bouncing around on three seats
It almost seems like someone
Has given him **** to eat
I stuff myself with pills
To try to get some sleep
But the kid is keeping me up
So soon I'll make him weep
I will whisper in his ear
That santa isn't real
And I'll describe to him
How chicken-pox will make him feel
I'll tell him about the dentist
How bad it hurts to drill
And how much he'll have to work
To be able to pay his bills
How hard it is to get a girl
How expensive a driving lesson is
The statistics of failing marriages
And how you can get ****** from a kiss
I'll tell him all of this and more
If he doesn't sit down and shut up
And if he still won't calm down
I'll show him *******
Her face and her lips speak deceit
Even her actions are lies.
She is a walking falsehood with fiction in her wake.
To someone we all know.

Starts with strangers
Which heading to different path
Not knowing each other
And never thought it would.
Becomes friends by accident
Welcoming new existence
Kinda exciting, huh?
Well, the beginning is always like that.
And it continues
To a phase we call it
Best-friend-lover
Everything is so fine
Coz they are so blind
Sparks in love that strikes.
A lovey-dovey happens next
Both become sweet-talker
Promising each other
Living in their own world
Surviving instead of drowning
Oh God, love at its prime.
Time flies
The journey isn't easy as it seems
Things happen, mistakes take place,
Suffering in heartache, keep tearing
No longer favorite each other
Now they started drowning
In their own love's ocean.
The cycle is currently
Heading to a down-*****
And everything changes
In a blink of an eye
Totally up side down
They become strangers again
But this time,
This stranger isn't welcome
To enter each other's life
Not even allowed
To knock the door
Of each other's heart.

End of another love story.
Why choose to hate, when you can love? I don't understand.
can I replace the new with old and call it new, or is that false representation?

will you sue me if I throw in a few past words and sell them to you as newer and better, more reliable, even though they might not be?

what about if I offer to steal a few glances to keep your thoughts scrambling for more?

can I seal a few letters with my Amsterdam red lipstick, to prove that there isn't a word I wrote to you that didn't come straight from my mouth, even though a few, ok all of them probably didn't?

after all, it is real, right?

-Julia Aubrey Rhodes-
Tobacco smoke drifts up to the dim ceiling
From half a dozen pipes and cigarettes,
Curling in endless shapes, in blue rings wheeling,
As formless as our talk. Phil, drawling, bets
Cornell will win the relay in a walk,
While Bob and Mac discuss the Giants' chances;
Deep in a morris-chair, Bill scowls at "Falk",
John gives large views about the last few dances.

And so it goes -- an idle speech and aimless,
A few chance phrases; yet I see behind
The empty words the gleam of a beauty tameless,
Friendship and peace and fire to strike men blind,
Till the whole world seems small and bright to hold --
Of all our youth this hour is pure gold.

When waves of sadness washed over me
And began to pull me under
You taught me how to swim.

I drank a bottle of blissful yellow paint
Lured myself with the calmness of blue
Drowned myself into a pool of thick red blood

And I found myself, staring at your eyes
Because, love, I realized, it is where my palette lies.
