The nouns of my life are fading.
I'm left standing at an
uncomfortable cliff.
And the winds of
change keep
whispering,
"Do you
fade or
fly?"

Life is long
Then suddenly ding ****
Your time is up
You look back at all you've done
As you go up
The memories you've had are long
Some make you laugh
Some make you cry
But then it hits you
You ran out of time
Then you try to pry down but you cant its too late
You wanted to at least make one more memory before it was too late
Then you see all you left behind and you start to worry
But this is your fate
How sad it ended this way
My lesson to you is dont waste your time

I placed you in my mind,
and from my dreams I got blind.
Then I placed you in my heart,
living my life, again I start.
I'm doing well now. How about you, love?

The first time I wrote poetry
I presented it to my father
He laughed and said to me
"must you be in love?
only those in love write this--"
A 10yr old girl cried that night,
Humiliated.

But it was true. Now that I look at it.
That of being in love.
Because I fell in love with written words
Hopefully someone reads this
And falls in love as well.

starts off as a whisper in your ear
something you hunger to taste
something you long to feel
and something you yearn to see
Then becomes a tormented dream
something you ache to have
something you crave to savor
and something that...
just can never **be

suicidal thoughts in my head
permanent solution to these problems that I dread
all your nagging got me so fed
that I wish I was dead.

I heard my thoughts and I gasped
they all say "don't **** yourself. not so fast"
ending my life would be such a blast
as eternal freedom I grasped.
just thoughts. holding on, kinda.
