What we did
Meant something
To me, not you
I get that

Now it's all
Said and done
All you care about?
Your ******* reputation

Can't have it get out
What you did to me
Nope
Can't have that

Even though you did it
Just as I did
No denying that
My bruises are proof

Have you no shame?
I guess you do
But it's directed at me
Not at you

Now it's all
Said and done
All you worry about?
Your ******* reputation
(Not going for style-points here. Just letting my anger out in a jumble of words that might possibly faintly resemble poetry.)

euphonious
how could one
be so gentle
as she whispers love
so unpretentiously
so gracefully
in my ears

how could one
hold my hand
and keep me warm
when the wind was unstable
singing beautiful chorus of serenity

she took my hand
when I fall into
infinite hole of chaos
taking every teardrops
from my glistening orbs

she collected every
scattered piece of me
and put it back together
when I couldn't

she is my eyes
when I can't see past
my own stumbling block
and help me
get it through

in the end
she will always be
the one who lands
silent kisses
of composure
every time I whisper
"I love you."

Sincerely,
your daughter.
Happy Mother's Day.

curlygirl
we're afraid to
hold each other
too tightly
because we know
we're fragile
and neither
wants to be
the first to
break.

Every word we say leaves an imprint on the soul.
The things we say can make a person feel whole.
It can make them despair and make them feel upset.
It can make them feel emotions they haven't felt yet.
Words can make someone fall in love, it can make their heart beat faster.
It can take their breath away, it can cause a disaster.
It can leave you wondering what they meant.
Or maybe leave you happily content.
It can help or hurt someone please be careful what you say.
Check your mind before you speak, check it all the way.
