On a golden bedding
Spread for you by June -
Silken, fresh tedding
Beneath a sluggish noon .
Ah! Your fragrant silhouette
In a blink of my eye!

But we are in the winter
Now,
The time to surrender
To the stories that unfold
Of the children and the old
Adding cold to cold
Around a hearth of clay

As I look through the window pane
I glimpse a scarlet tourist train
Across the scintillating snow
Coloring the leaden no-show
That shut him out from the rainbow.

Oh! Your fragrant silhouette
On a summer wheat show!

In a library you could find a book's buildup,
There was this quiet girl who hid behind bookshelves.
She was special, for she took the courage to stand up;
For those who could not stand up for themselves.

She realized that those fighting what they're fearing,
Often did not have a choice.
And that the ones worth hearing,
Often did not have the loudest voice.

She was the one to have her sails unfurled,
In a storm, yet not inflect.
For sometimes those who change the world,
Are the ones you least expect.
Dedicated to everyone who has the courage to fight injustice and help others without thinking twice. You are the ones that change the world!
Thousands of emotions can come from one person.
That person may be thinking of a certain situation or other person that first triggered all of these random emotions.
For me, it's another person I care about so much.
I'm the type to hold in emotions and look forward into my life.
These emotions are often negative.
No worries, right?
Takes a lot for me to show my true emotions, but when I do, it comes out rapidly.
Showers running down my face that can't be clearly explained.
Emotions vs. Negative Thoughts; Heart vs. Brain.
My heart feels like it's being crushed, squeezed, stabbed with swords at my darkest moments.
Love is a curious thing.
It is filled with both positive and negative outcomes.

I've always wanted to know,
how it is that the sky is blue -
how the sky illuminates
to welcome the sun,
as the moon fades away.

I've always asked about it,
and it turns out it's quite complicated
the sky is a perception

tiny flecks of short, blue waves
hit our eyes
out of literal
thin air.

I've never understood why humans are in such
haste to find romance,
as though they will only find it
lay with another,
when isn't it obvious?

Just like the amorous sky,
it is all perceptions
Romance is everywhere,
if it exists at all.
Do not call me pretty,
for I am more than it looks

I would rather be ugly ,
with the beauty inside

I don't want to be those girls
in magazines and books.

Don't just use me for my body,
without a confide.

Don't call me pretty,
look inside.

She is the center, connected
She loves beyond love
Yet I'm perplexed
By this dove
Whose wings, divine
Flutter in the fading light

She dives
Though she is so precise
In her flight
That her gentle body, white
Paints the night sky

Now blind

No stars
Not in front
Not behind
Just her
Always there to shine
Brighter and longer
Than any heavenly body I might find
I'm not sure what to do now.
She's so far away
But I still love to watch her fly

A lost mind,
Heart unknown and unkind.
You wonder why I’m close to darkness,
Almost as dark as the darkest parts
Of the moon.
You wonder why I say I need you,
Why I won’t follow my head
And walk away.
You tell me why should I?
Why can’t I free you?
Why can’t I free me?
Why can’t we be free?
Free from the shackles of pain
And free from the shackles of society.
But you tell me,
What is being free?
You tell me, what is your definition of freedom?
