to me you are a star of gold
a glowing asterisk
I wish I could hold
though you seem so far away
I truly wish we could meet some day
but alas we shall only meet
through our words,
spilling and falling across this page.
we are the unseen family
bound by art
which is better
because we dwell in the heart
Perhaps one day
the ink that I

Will form into a puddle
for you to jump into,
Only then will you know
Everything I write
is soaked in devotion
for you.
You're the reason I still write.

Writing
has set
me free.

It is
something
nobody
can ever
take away
from me.

maybe if you loved me
i could finally rest my head
on a white pillow
"i adore you"
"oh"
with the dawn of
four a.m.
the pen bleeds
keystrokes weep
for the heart pours
when the soul can't sleep
at half past
four a.m.
the seconds trickle
moments crawl
thoughts begin to race
as a fog consumes them all
upon the dusk of
four a.m
the silence flows
the mind reseals
the soul feels safe
as the peaceful quiet heals
finding inspiration within yourself

Most times you will find me silent.
Unwilling to put the thoughts into sentences.
But I promise you;
I will return.

Step by step,
Piece by piece,
We will examine each one on it's own.

We'll lighten the darkness a little,
And make it a more pleasant view.

Imagination I leave for you to decide what to do with.
