Holding Me
Jasmine Reid May 2017
He holds me.
In this pleasing squeeze.
And keeps it from touching me.
Just something short I thought of today

That's Life
Jasmine Reid May 2017
Mistakes are made. And that's a fact.
The past is the past.
And you can not go back that far.
All you can do is adapt, and take your life back!
Move forward.
Try your best, the best that you can.
But **** it up, you're stronger than that.

Here I Lie
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
Here I Lie.
In my life.
On these words.
In these pages.
In this book I have created.
Turn me upside down and throw me on the ground.
I'm still here, I'm still breathing, and I'm still living.
I'm not happy, I'm not sad, I'm not mad, I'm not glad.
I'm everything and nothing, deep inside.
I'm empty but full.
Just half and half.

Here I Lie, Here I Lie.
That's me when I die.
But when will I die? And when will I strive?
And only God knows when I'll drown under the tide.
If you're here, and you bothered to read.
Thank you.
Thank you dearly, for listening to my words in your own voice.
And because reading this was your choice.

Giving Up On Life
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
'Giving up' is a saying. But so many know that it is life's tow.
We fight, we play, and we yell horray.
Our days filled with youth and joy and other stuff.
But when you grow up and are caught in deaths trap, you'll realise, it's a bluff.
We are born, and we live a life, but then we die.
So really...

We Were Born To Die.
Cycle Of Life.
Life then Death.

Sexy
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
"God bless it, what are you doing to me?"
He thought to himself quietly.

They had jumped together from a cliff, into a natural pool.
And he was given a harded stool.
-
He grabbed some soap, for which she was glad.
Finally a bath, something clean and grand,
Approaching him again, as the water bends.
Her hands grabbed his own, the soap intact. Rubbing the suds in her soft hands.

She rubbed his cheek, he felt the tingles and jolts. As she pinched his other cheek, playfully.
He giggled and chuckled, pinching her nose during this playful matter.
As the water became a splatter.
He cleaned her, and she had cleaned him.
Just the two of them.
No one else.
Just them.
He begged for the moment to never end.

He'd been touched by her, and he loved the feeling,
he wanted her close, so she wasn't for the taking.

"Just a simple peck, nothing intense." he thought sweetly,
he yearned to touch her again, to feel her again.

"Do we have time?" She asked, as he looked at the positioned sun.
"No, we have to go back."

This saddened him, for he wanted to be in the water forever,
just with her and him together.

ʜᴇʟᴘ ᴍᴇ
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
I hate you,
I despise you,
I loath you!
Because you make me feel nothing but,
Pain, and disappointment about myself!
All you care about is making fun of me,
and mentally & emotionally torturing me!
I'm sick of it, I want the freedom I never had!

You care about my grades, not my tears...
You don't even know when I cry, unless it's in front of your eyes.

I hate you, I love you, but I can never forgive you.
Mum & Dad.

Lullaby
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
She was quiet & sad.
As life dragged.
Nose filled with snot, and the tears wouldn't stop.
She didn't know where she was going.
As her ocean was flowing.
*Why not abide to suicide?

Feelings
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
Scribble here, and there.
And all the way over there.
Enjoying her words on the page.
Her feelings on a stage.
I write to express and let it all out.
Maybe you should try it out?

Breathing
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
We breath together.
We breath as one.
Then one, bites their tongue.
He drops to the floor, oh what a galore!
The air is thick, and hard to swollow.
Deep breaths.
A suffocating wish.
A suicide wish.
The earth is ruined, polluted and dead.
Bye Bye Earth.
Hello Death.

Let Me Be
Jasmine Reid Apr 2017
I wish to leave.
This cruel, cruel world.
Because society is a tease.
But I do not want to twirl.

I wish to leave.
Oh, please, please, please.
Let me, be me.
Why can't I just be accepted for who I am?

Emerald Eyes
Jasmine Reid Mar 2017
"Dance! Dance my darling!" He cheers.
Her gloved hand fixed in his, as her dress swirls around.
The space is cleared, as the audience goggles.
Masked and fake.
His triumphant smirk bright and wide, as he focuses on her eyes.
Emerald
A gorgeous green that makes her stand out, her brunette waved locks curling out,
and her red dress, beautifully painted.

As the sea of mysterious eyes of masked viewers watch intently.
Around them seems dark, a circle of light is where they dance.
And now,
the final stance.

Releasing her was unthinkable, breathless as they were.
He was certain he'd ravish her.

Release
Jasmine Reid Mar 2017
You hold on so tight.
So, so tight.
I can't move, I can't talk, I can't breathe.
You need to release me.
From this hold, from this bond.
I'm no longer fond.
Release me into this world.
The real world.
Someone will be there, surely there must be!
They'll give me their hand, and show me.
. . . the world of insanity . . .
Someone is out there, waiting just for me.
To take my hand.
And guide me through insanity.

I'm Not Okay
Jasmine Reid Mar 2017
Okay.
Such a pitiful word, it describes nothing.
Yet everything.
I'm okay, I say nearly everyday.
But *I'm not okay
, and I don't want to play.
"Not being okay..is okay"
It's not okay, to be that though.
No, not at all.

I want to go back, back through it all.
Fix it, mend it, prevent it from happening.
But it did.
And I can't.
Tough things happen, and they hurt a lot.
But you have to try to get through them all.

Morning
Jasmine Reid Mar 2017
Early bird, early bird.
The sun comes out to play.
At 5:58.
In the morning rise, I can see my life change everyday.
Oh so cold, oh so cold.
The morning breeze.
Thank you air for helping me.

Survival Game
Jasmine Reid Nov 2016
Another world rules our own
We are all pawns in a board game
We all fight against an enemy, or one another.
Together, we try to rise, but die in this tide of life and death.

Like a Survival Game.

Reality's Sake
Jasmine Reid Nov 2016
For reality's sake, we can say
That Life Is Never Complete Until We Die
Because for reality's sake, we do not know, whether there is an afterlife,
So for reality's sake, why try to not die, when we do not know what lies on the other side...
Reality is one thing. And death is another.
But which is real?

Blind
Jasmine Reid Oct 2016
One day. It'll be a beautiful day.
And I won't be able to see it.
I'll be blind.
Blind by grief, or regret.
Or possibly other emotions
Maybe so many emotions, I can't handle or understand anymore!

All I know is, one day.
I'll be blinded.
Don't let things stop you from seeing everything else.

Trying
Jasmine Reid Oct 2016
I tried so hard.
I swear I did.
So hard to impress you,
So hard to gain your respect!

But all my trying and all my dying.
Was worthless to you.

"I can't do it!"
"I'm trying!"
"I tried"
"Goodbye"
Try your best. That's all you can do, and hopefully one day.. they'all see too.

Jasmine Reid Oct 2016
So many questions, so many tales and stories they tell.
Plenty speak. Any, will listen.

But not all do. But they do not know the true.
Your true intentions.
Your true thoughts.
Your true nature.
Your true heart.

For they can not hear, for they do not listen.
All they hear is their own,

Pillow Talk
Jasmine Reid Oct 2016
Rumbling about, back and forth.
You, can never be taught.
Sleeping still, not with this beeping bill.

'Beep beep beep!' your alarm quacks
"Shut your mouth" you thaw from slumber.

Smashing it down, thrashing it to the ground, time to mell under your sheets.
"*******.."

Insanity
Jasmine Reid Oct 2016
Sanity.

Insanity.

Which to choose?
Why should we choose?
How should we choose?

Why...why do these things happen to us? They make us angry, fierce, crazy!
Borderline, bipolar psychotic.

Therefore, I believe. That someday.....someone will reach out there hand before me, and say.
"Let me show you this world of insanity"

A writers mind.
Jasmine Reid Jul 2016
A quiet room, only a pencils words to be heard.
But it's all secretly a riot. A tranquil, and amazing place that some yearn.
Truth be told, they scramble, and scribble. Biased to one thing, but feel like it's missing something. They search and search, looking for it. A plot, a story to tell.

But everything is a rush. In a single ring of a bell.

Precious Youth.
Jasmine Reid Jul 2016
Youth is what we hold, either in mind, body or both at one time.
But if you waste this precious holding, it may reveal a now unfortunate truth.
Claim and hold onto everything that it offers in that way.
Don't waste your precious youth.
