Your Whispering Eyes
Hussein Dekmak Dec 2017
You didn’t voice even a murmur of a word, but
Your eyes whispered enough words to me to last a thousand nights of Shahrazad’s stories!

I Have a Story to Tell You
Hussein Dekmak Oct 2017
I have a story to tell you.
I had only shared it with the romantic moon and the flirting stars.
Poetry is the whisper of my love, and the echo of my joy, my sorrow and My pain.
I am a person who lives an extraordinary life, with no barriers, no chains.
I am in love with the magic of nature, in which I had
Built a  kingdom that is bordered by all of  beautiful hearts in the world!

I have a story to tell you.
I believe in no number, no name,
But, I  still want to touch every life that has a number or a name.
I believe in no color, but I do embrace all humans tinted with different Paints!

I have a story to tell you.
I am a dreamer, who dreams of creating a world full of happy people,
Drawing smiles on their faces, coloring their thoughts with hopes, and Inspirations,
And adding a dash of giving and compassion to their hearts!
I am a person who cares about people's feelings and sense their Pain,
And dream of washing away all of their tears with the morning rain!

A soul from heaven is on a mission,
To bring smiles to broken hearts,
Restore people's shattered dreams,
And bless one life with a touch of sunshine!

A soul from heaven,
Pure and eternal,

When Tomorrow Comes
Hussein Dekmak Aug 2017
When tomorrow comes,
My dream would be
To awaken one person's thoughts,
Through inspiration, smiles, and  prayer,
And to whisper into that individual's heart,
Kindness and humility.

Take me Away
Hussein Dekmak Jul 2017
Take me away, back to my first love.
Take me far away to the promised land.
Take me away, across the seven seas, back to my home that I have left behind!

Take me away, to a place where my body feels no pain.
Take me to a place where I carry no number or name.
Take me to the land  where I will feel free from my worries and chains!

Take me away, to a new magnitude of dreams.
Take me away, to a place where ideas radiate.
Take me away, to a place where soft hearts blossom!

Take me away, high in the sky above the clouds.
Take me away, make me a neighbor to the beautiful night stars.
Take me to a place where I can sip an eternal drink of bliss.
Take me away, to a place where I can hide from my shadow until I find my way,
Take me away, from myself, so I can find my lost soul
Take me away, I long to go far away!

Color my World Beautiful
Hussein Dekmak Jul 2017
Color my world beautiful.
Color it with an orange and yellow sun sinking, into the restless ocean waves.
Paint over it with the rainbows across the sky,
Color it with dark blues and grays of summer nights,
And with the glow of the moon from behind the clouds.
Paint my world with your heavenly smile,
Add a touch of your good wishes,
Let us hear the soft murmur of your prayers.

Color it with joy and sweet innocence of young children,
Add a dash of youthful inspiration, and mix in some ambition.
Color it with the wisdom and accomplishments of the elders!

Color my deeds with kindness.
Color my mind with ideas and creativity.
Color my soul with humility and fill it with hope and prayer.
Color my heart with love and affection for all humanity.
Color my life with a beautiful family and true friends!

Color my world with hope, optimism, and a new promise
To touch people's lives and help ease their pain.
Color my thoughts, my heart, and my deeds with
The eternal prayer of being a servant for humanity.
Color it with bright and eternal colors.
Color it beautiful !

My Kingdom
Hussein Dekmak May 2017
My kingdom is where extraordinary ideas dwell and kindness blossoms.
It is where laughter blooms and poetry rules.
It is where the beauty of nature, minds, and souls unite,
And together they become one, like one song, one prayer!

It is where acts of blessings glow,
Faces radiate with wholehearted smiles,
Resounding cries of souls are heard,
Beautiful hearts are welcomed,
Dreams slumber on the sun’s lap,
And minds are always thinking about the next innovative idea!

My Kingdom is my refuge and my fortress when life gets tough!
It is my happy song and my eternal dream!

Break down the barrier, break down the wall;
So I can see your smiling face, your white teeth and all!

Break down the barrier, break down the wall;
Let your inner beauty shine through, so with kindness you can stand up tall!

Break down the barrier, break down the wall;
So you can give me a helping hand and answer the helpless call!

Break down the barrier, break down the wall;
So you can share with the world the magic of your beautiful brain ball!

Break down the barrier, break down the wall;
So together we can enjoy the songs of melodious birds, and experience the great outdoors!
Admire nature for its openness. No barrier, no wall!

My Mother's Prayer
Hussein Dekmak Mar 2017
After gazing at my mother’s serene face,
I asked her about the secret of prayer.
She glanced up at me, and a look of sheer joy appeared on her face as she Began to answer.

“My dear son,
Prayer is the gateway to an assured heart.
It is the bridge to reaching deep into your soul, and the key to eternal Happiness.
You see son,
Prayer is the key of balance in this unsteady life.
It is a guaranteed hope no matter how low you are.
It is about giving of yourself without being asked.
It is the promise to bless one life at a time.
It is giving thanks for your blessings.
Every prayer is a renewed pledge to touch one soul at a time.
It is for the times you're contemplating the beauty that is nature, and all of it’s creations.
It is a beacon of kindness and compassion.
It is the priceless gift of sending good thoughts and wishes to those Around you;
The ability to bring happiness to another soul.
It is a warm greeting.
It is planting a tree of hope and inspiration deep in the hearts of lost souls.
It is shedding tears of remorse in the middle of the night when the moon is hidden deep behind the clouds.
Prayer is about living, practicing, and loudly singing life’s happy song.
It is about radiating with so much hope and having it reach those Around you.
Prayer is the instrument which you play daily in this life.”

Goodbye!
Hussein Dekmak Jan 2017
I would like another chance,
A chance to bid a proper goodbye to my loved ones,
So I can bury their sweet memories; the memories that have been weighing on me
So heavily, high up between the white clouds!
I want a chance to share their stories with the blue birds;
I want to send my longing tears into the clouds.
I pray that the midnight rain will wash away this aching pain!

Free me of my Chains
Hussein Dekmak Jan 2017
Free me of my chains;
Free my body, my mind, and my soul so I can feel abundantly free!

Free me of my chains;
So I can be a bird flying high in the sky amidst the clouds, flapping wings, spending my life singing, traveling the world, visiting my childhood girl who had beautiful green eyes, and spreading happiness and harmony around the globe!

Free me of my chains;
So I can go back to my innocent childhood, playing with my friend, laughing so loud, running around to a point where I am all sweaty, watching the miracle of the birth of baby sheep, goats, and cows in my dad's barn, going into nature, picking wild flowers to present them, with an innocent smile, to my cute teacher!

Free me of my chains;
So I can visit my mom in heaven, get her a soft kiss and hug, stare at her beautiful green eyes and her angelic smile, and share with her stories about my lovely family.

Free me of my chains;
So I can spend the rest of my life enjoying the beauty of nature, watching the colorful butterflies, listening to the melodious birds, enjoying the ocean breath, collecting shells, and watching the sunset at the beach.

Free me of my chains;
So I can spend the rest of my days in an isolated place connecting to God, asking Him for forgiveness for my numerous sins, shedding tears for innocent lives, praying for poor people who go to sleep on empty stomachs.

Free me of my chains;
So I can lose myself in serving people, giving hope to the hopeless, lifting the spirit of suffering souls, and giving a helping hand to underprivileged people.

Hope
Hussein Dekmak Jan 2017
If I stumble, if I fall,
While I’m walking on my journey, searching for a way through my Sorrows and misgivings,
Would you be so kind as to lift me up with tender care?
Would you help to show me the way?

If I find myself caught, running through a raging storm,
Would you shelter me from the wild wind with a sanctuary of hope?
Would you nurture me with kindness until the rain stops falling?

If I decide to sail through my dark thoughts,
To fly through the cold winter’s dim and gloomy sky,
Would you take my hand, and show me the direction to the sunrise?
Would you take me to a place where the melody of the birds fills the air;
To a place with a new dawn, new moon, new hope, and renewed promise?

I want to be immortal; I want to be eternal.
After I’ve taken my last breath, I want my deeds to live on.
I want to live on through the smiles I’ve shared.
I want my legacy to live on through my words.
I want to be long remembered by my loved ones.

I want to be immortal; I want to be eternal.
I want the words of my poetry to echo throughout time.
I want them to be engraved in the stars and scattered throughout the night sky.

I want to be immortal; I want to be eternal
All of my life I strive to contemplate kind thoughts and execute my actions with kindness.
I believe that good deeds and benevolence are the bridge that will lead my soul to heaven, where I can reside eternally.
I want to be able to look down from above and witness my legacy live on with me forever.
I want to be proud of the heritage I leave behind, the lives I touch.

I want to be immortal; I want to be eternal.
When I am ready to depart, I want my body to be buried deep inside mother nature's heart, next to my beloved mom, in the middle of the mountain. My fragile body will celebrate life by nurturing the beautiful trees in the cemetery.
Then I will be able to rest in peace knowing that nature and I
are one, and I that I’ve finally become a part of creation's beauty for all eternity!

Mr. Immigration Officer
Hussein Dekmak Dec 2016
As I had reached the immigration counter at the airport, the Immigration Officer began to recite his script of questions.
He began with, “What is your occupation?”
I replied “I am a proud healthcare professional who provides services to My customers with a pinch of love, a sense of morality, and a wide, whole Hearted smile”.

He then followed with, “Show me your ID".
I answered him with a soft voice, and replied respectfully,
“Sir, my identity can be found in the smiling and happy faces of all of the People around the world, it can be found in the hearts of the pure, and in The minds of the creative and kind souls.

The officer had a reserved look on his face and displayed a look of Hesitation. This made me feel that he was starting to listen to my Message.
He replied in a stern voice, “Where are you from?”
I answered with a smile,
"I come from this same beautiful earth.
I’ve grown up dreaming of reaching the moon just as you have, and when I’m truly touched, you can see the twinkling stars in my eyes.
I too have experienced the raging winds,
I’ve danced to the rhythm of the waves of the ocean, I’ve shared in singing The melody of the birds.
Sir, I am from the same sacrificing mother, I come from the same land, the Land of the free and the home of the brave".

The officer tried to contain his amusement, as he continued his recitation.
“What type of religion do you follow?”
I swiftly responded, “I follow the universal religion of kindness that believes that all people are created equal.
My religion believes in judging people based on their inner beauty, their true kindness, their generosity, and their ability to be compassionate."

With a big smile and a twinkle in his eyes, the officer responded, “Well sir, what have you packed in your luggage?”
"In this luggage, I have all of my great dreams, my endless yearning, my longing, my childhood memories, my experiences, and a whole lot of love, hope, and inspiration.
I also have some seeds that I plan to plant to develop positive change in this world."

I saw a tear roll down the officer’s cheek. Then he told me, with a voice full of emotion, “Brother, I hope you have a safe trip. Please take care of yourself, and continue on with your journey."
