Don't know where she came from
nor about her torrid path
Sunshine and butterflies
told me this is the one mac
Ars longa, vita brevis
Art is long life is short/sweet
The marching bands are back
promoting fighting in the streets

She's a life-changer
            life-changer
She's a life-changer
            life changer

As caterpillars died off fast
and darkness soon filled in
I needed someone to reflect
that way I felt with-in
I know she'll pass this way again
and hope and pray 'till then
for another pretty girl
just sending me to heaven
A lonely girl fell in love
With the city skylines in
the horizon of time and
Distance. She lived for
Taking walks & watching,
Listening, being near all
The different stories who
Talked like she couldn't;
She had never learned to.

Her solitary soul found
Peace in pacing streets;
In passing and passively
Partaking in this company.
Perhaps a small smile or
A windswept "hello", she
Was happy. Always near
But never with, just this.
She needed nothing more.

Last night I fell to the kitchen floor getting a drink and started twitching and shaking

It felt like fear had stabbed his dagger through my chest

I went to my room, laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling for 5 minutes wishing I could be ****** into space and not deal with the fear anymore

I don't want to watch you step on the plane after we lock our lips for the last time for a long time

Creep
Keep memories close,
Reminders of what was
And what can still be.
Very important.

"I'm busy," she says
"I have work to do,"
"If I want to see the moon I can find a good picture online."

When is a picture
ever a good substitute
unless the real thing
isn't there?

People can leave and burn their bridges,
but I'm always willing to jump the river.
