Was it the sound of my loud thoughts that troubled me?
Was it the echo - the chirping - of her voice?
Was it the image of her, her.
Was it the fable of her?
Was it her for not existing?
That loud, chirping-echoing voice; the loud thought -
Was is her, her, her who does not exist.

Being so hopeless in romance, by now;
I would have thought I'd be in love.
I should have found her.

Her.

She is beautiful;
I find her beautiful;
She finds me beautiful for finding her beautiful.
I think she is beautiful.
She is beautiful.
She is;

She has a name.
I want to know her name.
I am screaming, in agony, her name.
What is her name?
I want to know her name.

She has no name,
But she is special - she is;
There is something about her smile - her laughter;
And her smile, again - there is something about that smile;
It's beautiful.
I love staring at her, catching her gazing at me - she smiles;
I love that smile; I love that she is smiling.

But who is she;
Who is... her?
There is no her.
She does not exist.
She exists.
I have not met her, yet;
I have not. I want to. But I have not - not yet;

In this loud silence;
The loneliness is loud, it's a disturbance.
Because of her, I miss her;
There is no her.

Not yet.
And the Lonely is loud. It's a landmark;
I am cold, even on the warmest of days; I - I - am cold;
I am cold, because I do not have her.
too attractive for his own good
too attracted for my own good
this won't end well
You are the dead air after the joke my friends don't get.
I hear your laugh in the spaces between my family's oblivion and my sanity,
the crevices of pointless conversations.
You are an envelope with no return address.
You are the first person I want to tell about my day.
When my dad asks me how school was, I can only think of how you knew never to ask me that.
They say the nights are hard when no ones in your bed,
but what about when you spend your day in bed because you can't bear another day of activities that don't involve them?
I don't miss you only at 2 am.
I feel the sting of you in the night but you burn me in the afternoons with even greater intensity.
I prefer to be alone because then I only see your smile embedded in my walls rather than the lack of it on everyone else's face.
You are the silence after Wonderwall ends,
you are the lack of " I want to write something like that one day".
I am reminded of you when the girl next to me at a Fall Out Boy concert is sitting on her phone. I know you would scream every lyric with me.
I think that's what hurts, the knowing, especially of the things you aren't here for.
When I cry to "I'm like a lawyer" it's because I will never hear your voice sing it again.
So no, I do not miss you at 2am.
I miss you at 2 pm when I realize that everything I am doing now will never again be done with you
Hello little youngin
Standing so fair
Such an innocent tongue
With his bright blond hair
So sweet with a happy glare
Yet to climb life's rungs

I wish I could tell you
The hardships that lie ahead
I wish I could show you
What you should do instead
But life shouldn't be guided
by a slightly older you

As I look I wish I could go back,
as I smile with glee at these photographs
I wish I could smack you,
for going down the wrong track
But reminiscing about my own past
I can't help but crack a laugh
i never knew
that i had
everything
until now
that i have
nothing
I almost died, and
Then realized at long last
That no one noticed

Sometimes I write words that I think are perfect and mighty

but when I read your words ,they ******* me ,they make me feel like a nonsense trying to make sense

They make me Wonder, why should i call  me a poet
With words that don't rhyme
or flow

But again I believe that this words are perfect and mighty
they gave me hope
I found peace whenever I wrote them
I floated like a feather and forgot my permanent scars
with these words am a Knight and a hero
what are you with your words
Well, my daddy left home when I was three,
and he didn't leave much to Ma and me,
just this old guitar and a bottle of *****.
Now I don't blame him because he run and hid,
but the meanest thing that he ever did was
before he left he went and named me Sue.

Well, he must have thought it was quite a joke,
and it got lots of laughs from a lot of folks,
it seems I had to fight my whole life through.
Some gal would giggle and I'd get red
and some guy would laugh and I'd bust his head,
I tell you, life ain't easy for a boy named Sue.

Well, I grew up quick and I grew up mean.
My fist got hard and my wits got keen.
Roamed from town to town to hide my shame,
but I made me a vow to the moon and the stars,
I'd search the ***** tonks and bars and ****
that man that gave me that awful name.

But it was Gatlinburg in mid July and I had
just hit town and my throat was dry.
I'd thought i'd stop and have myself a brew.
At an old saloon in a street of mud
and at a table dealing stud sat the *****,
mangy dog that named me Sue.

Well, I knew that snake was my own sweet dad
from a worn-out picture that my mother had
and I knew the scar on his cheek and his evil eye.
He was big and bent and gray and old
and I looked at him and my blood ran cold,
and I said, "My name is Sue. How do you do?
Now you're gonna die." Yeah, that's what I told him.

Well, I hit him right between the eyes and he went down
but to my surprise he came up with a knife
and cut off a piece of my ear. But I busted a chair
right across his teeth. And we crashed through
the wall and into the street kicking and a-gouging
in the mud and the blood and the beer.

I tell you I've fought tougher men but I really can't remember when.
He kicked like a mule and bit like a crocodile.
I heard him laughin' and then I heard him cussin',
he went for his gun and I pulled mine first.
He stood there looking at me and I saw him smile.

And he said, "Son, this world is rough and if
a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough
and I knew I wouldn't be there to help you along.
So I gave you that name and I said 'Goodbye'.
I knew you'd have to get tough or die. And it's
that name that helped to make you strong."

Yeah, he said, "Now you have just fought one
helluva fight, and I know you hate me and you've
got the right to **** me now and I wouldn't blame you
if you do. But you ought to thank me
before I die for the gravel in your guts and the spit
in your eye because I'm the nut that named you Sue."
Yeah, what could I do? What could I do?

I got all choked up and I threw down my gun,
called him pa and he called me a son,
and I came away with a different point of view
and I think about him now and then.
Every time I tried, every time I win and if I
ever have a son I think I am gonna name him
Bill or George - anything but Sue.
