Sky
You look at the sky.
You see a vast open mirage cascaded in a warm royal blanket,
with silver clouds that linger above your every thought.

I see something different.
I see a beautiful visual distinction of everyone's plausible possibilities.
The single flap of a budding bird, taking off into life's flight.
The sensational physical reaction of a rain droplet exuberating onto skin.
A natural epiphany.
The unyielding bolts of light hammering from  up above,
turning specks of sand into timeless memories.
I see a never ending scape of clarity.
An omnipotent place of livability that stretches to the heavens,
just a piece of what might be in store.

Shadows still, as Fall laments
Winter claims its prize
It happens slow, in increments
Death is in Fall's eyes

The things of nature begin to age
It happens every year
It's time for life to turn the page
And slowly disappear

Winter demands a final reward
Seeking to steal Fall's breath
Death will come, it's never ignored
This is the way of death

Memories last as long as they can
Of the things that used to be
Winter is Death and Fall is Man
And it comes for you and me

Winter takes the things we've done
And leaves behind the crumbs
No place to hide, no where to run
For Winter always comes
Ice and snow
Frozen rain
Falling down,
We all go insane.
Frozen still
Frozen cold
Come inside, before you
Turn to stone.
The last leaves succumb.
Floating like feathers of gold.
Inevitable.

A C Leuavacant
A Scream came from up above
From the bell tower
It was so piercing
In my ears
Ouch
Oh no
Not my ears

I was then required to rise from my nest
stare out the window
And watch in a mannerly fashion as a dark swooping fire engulfed
The bell tower
Oh no
I thought
Not the Bell tower
That is definitely not a good place
For fire to be
No
Not at all

Maybe I should help
To remove the fire
from the bell tower
Yes
That would be
Very helpful indeed
I would be a hero
Oh yes
That would be very nice
But I decided
That I would take the moral high ground
And went back to sleep
Just a little something odd

Tessa
today i saw a row of schoolchildren at an airport
observing the beehive from the outside
they have never touched the skyline
they have never been inside
they live on the outskirts of this city
their lives are a contrast to mine

i could see the wonder painted on their faces
they were dreaming
in their private minds
they had become more than school children
they were a part of the city
they had a seat on the plane
we all have dreams
