i.

I shalt play
The piano and lrye;
To put her to sleep.

ii.

I shalt strum
Her heart's desire;
Inside of her keep.

iii.

I shalt swoon her
In ecstasy marriage;
Lover's entwined
Magical carriage.

On this Thanksgiving Day
tables are filled with
what are called
blessings of enough..
Yet those fillings
suggest and remind
that there are tables
without enough..
And in truth
all tables filled
however filled
if standing alone
indulged
out of Context
will never be
Enough...

The ship will continue to travel
As the waves come about
There may have to be a change in its course
That my friends is no doubt
Continuing to sail at sea
The vessel will carry its mission
From dusk until dawn
And never lose its vision

You and I,
We use the same language,
We have the same voice,
We live in the same body,
That you and I rejoice.

Even in the darkness
We find each other's hearts
And from within we harness
The glitter of the stars.

Would you mind if I wrote you a love poem
Would you care if I shared it with the world
Would it be okay if I filled it with cliches
As in I am the oyster and you are the pearl

Oh my, it'll be an absolute delight
Go ahead, let the earth be smitten
Let your words float in the twilight
It'll be a beauty no one has ever written

I ask would it be too much
If I compared your beauty to that of Spring flowers
Or how I could just sit here and stare
As I dreamly while away the hours

I'll be flushed with humility
As I am just one of His thankful creations
I'll allow your gaze even through infinity
Admiring beyond my imperfections

Would it be to much to say
That you put the night stars to shame
If I had my very own galaxy
On it I would place your name

You can ask the clouds and sky above
How your words touched my heart to the core
The unfeigned expression of your love
I'm truly blessed, couldn't ask for more

While all above is true enough
Against your beauty nature would lose
I think instead I'll make this poem
A simple "I love you"

Still learning to reach for the gifts
star like in the skies
Taking them into my heart

One at a time

One for your love
The children too

One for the mind
One for the feelings
Through and through

One for the light evolving
One for the light of healing

One at a time

One for the heat of living

Still learning to reach for the gifts
Star like in the skies.

Time to meditate and pray

Time to sleep and time to eat
Time to wash my father's feet!

Time to write and time to read
Keep up with my friends - agreed?

Time to cook and time to wash
Time to do the dishes - gosh!

Time to talk upon the phone
Time to be with God - alone

Now that day has just begun
I've communed with the Holy One
Meeting with the morning sun
Now it's time to have some FUN!
I'm going to read this morning.
Please bear with me.
I have SO many responsibilities!
Did I spell that correctly?
Oh well...
Good morning/afternoon/evening!

topacio
my fingers have become bored with
the quicksand of routine
they prefer to dance erotically over my typewriter
frolicking like naked ballerinas
over an ancient stage
spilling their secret thoughts
onto blank page,
after their day job
threaded together
over my lap,
or bending over to
reveal the contents
of my burlap sack

they have taken instead
to jumping over cracks
in the nothing of night
stifling the sound of silence
with assortments of clicks and clacks
punching in the perfect pitch of keys
to leave Beethoven blind
from this symphony of notes combined

and just like that at last
they have unfolded some rhyme
unachievable with ink and pencil,
without the stencil of time
dictating to work inside the lines

our thoughts are the ribbons
wrapped around the words like a bow
like a present of misgiving
that only the giving could bestow
it's hard to live with the living
when we die with what we know
it's the wit of the unwitting
it's the only gift we show
It matters not how important that you become.
It matters not how wealthy that you have become.
It does not matter how smart that you are my friend.
It matters not how successful that you have become.
What matters is how much you love God and others.
For to be loved by everyone , for how you made them feel.
For Love is the Greatest Gift that we can share with others.
For it is by far greater then diamonds and Gold coins.
Love can heal the brokenness that lives within you too.
But just imagine what one whom loves with Gold and Love combine.
How much Christ uses them to love and bless others here on the earth.
