He didn't meet many expectations
With the shell that he wore
Though the people gave nothing
They expected more

He'd stroll into town
With the clothes on his back
And the tools he would need
In an ancient, holey bag

He'd search out those
In need of repair
A leaky roof
Or a broken chair

This man seemed to know something
About every field
He'd smooth bumpy roads
Even doctored wounds 'til they healed

There was never a charge
For the service he rendered
One need only ask
And perhaps remember

If a stranger's in need
And passes your way
Just give him a hand
That's my pay

The more that he helped
The more tradesmen would fuss
This man's stealing the thunder
That belongs to us

So the tradesmen all gathered
And plotted and planned
The weapons they chose
Were not in their hands

They began to spread lies
This is our competitors' ruse
If he keeps freely working
Consider the business we'll lose

They convinced the masses
In spite of all he had done
This enemy among us
Is a dangerous one

So this strange humble servant
Who was mocked in the end
Had no one defend him
Not one single friend

If you'll lend me your ear
I'll return it with truth
The enemy among us
Is me and you

They have more courage than anyone I know
They constantly sacrifice their lives
So one can have wood, homes, floors, fences,
And so many more things
They never once cry or even scream
Though it hurts them, they keep their vows of silence
They give us oxygen freely
Everyday, every minute, every hour
Each day, each breath you take
It is thanks to them,
And yet they never blame you,
Nor say a harsh word
They never judge you or hold a grudge against you
Even though it's their life you have taken
Could you give up your life, so willingly?
Never cry, never utter a word, or hate anybody?
Could you give oxygen to everyone 24/7?
AND give up your life, even though
You're just as helpful living as you are dead?
If not, then those same trees that have laid down their lives
For the very chair you're sitting on, for the very home you live in
Are the best of God's creation amongst us
Let us always try to respect them
GOD BLESS THEM & LONG LIVE THE TREES!

God bless the one who PRAYS
PRAISE the Lord's heavenly REIGN
RAIN on me, then warming RAYS
RAISE my soul to a higher PLANE

PLAIN and simple, he can HEAL
HE'LL save any sinner TOO
TO him, surrender yourself WHOLLY
HOLY father is for me and you

PRAYER

oh Lord, can you hear my PLEAS
PLEASE shelter me from the RAIN
REIGN over me with a watchful EYE
I long to make it to your domain
i know i used rain/reign twice, but the prayer was meant to be a different poem...it seems like few people support, or respect these, but my words to them are, "let's see you write one"
Written by different men at different times but flawless,
Before some things were scientifically proven, they were already written down,
Examples of these are;the earth being spherical, air having weight, stars being different, earth floating in space, etc
Evidently, its the most read book world wide
Its the book of wisdom, encouragement, salvation, protection, strength even love,
Read it more often,
When you read it,you're never alone, you may feel lonely but God is always there with you, talk to Him as He speaks to you through His word,
It contains the bread of life.
Those are the scriptures>1.Creation is made up of invisible elements = Hebrews 11 v3
2. The Earth is a sphere = Isaiah 40 v22
3.The Earth floats freely in space =Job 26 v7
4. There are innumerable stars = Jeremiah 32 v22
5. Each star is different and unique = 1 Corinthians 15 v41
6.Light moves = Job 38 v19- v20
7.The ocean floor contains deep valleys and mountains =2 Samuel 22 v16  & Jonah 2v6
8.The ocean contains springs = Job 38v16
9.Blood is the source of life and health = Leviticus 17 v11
10. Wind blows in cyclones = Ecclesiastes 1v6
11. Air has weight = Job 28 v25
All that was written way back, thousands of years ago..Indeed the bible is the real word of God.it lacks NOTHING!

Help me Lord to set my mind
On things that reign above
So that when you appear in Glory
My life is hidden with you in love

Heavenly Father put to death
These things I do not need
Immorality , impurity, evil desires
Along with idolatry and greed

I know because of these
Your wrath is soon to come
At that time I pray I am hidden
In Jesus Christ the son

Help me rid myself O Lord
Of rage and malice and slander
Help me to put away my Lord
Filthy language and anger

Lord we know here there is
No Scythian , Gentile or Jew
For we are all the same
Securly held by you

Help us to be holy Lord
Making kindness our mission
Help us ** be clothed with humility
Gentleness and compassion

Teach us to forgive
Another's wrongs we see
Let love bind us each together
In perfect unity

Help us Lord to be thankful
As we teach through songs and psalms and hymns
Help us do all in the name of the Lord
Giving praise and thanks to Him.

sing to the King of kings
worship our mighty Lord
maker of everything
mountain to shore

sing of His faithfulness
worship His Holy Name
bow to His countanance
always the same

bring Him a song of hope
bring Him a song of faith
sing Him a song of love
all who have breath

creation speaks aloud
stars have their tales to tell
waves on the distant shores
whisper in shells

all of earth's creatures
cry out their stories
listen and you will hear
God's Glory

they bring Him songs of hope
they bring Him songs of faith
they sing Him songs of love
unto their death

lost ones speak muteness
people without a spark
closed mouths of unbelief
sleep in the dark

Lord, wake the silent ones
open their ears to hear
part lips to cry out loud
with love and fear

let them join in the choir
teach them a new thing
let every mouth proclaim

Christ Jesus King

This is my Sunday morning song
I've been singing to God today
I will try to post a worship song
On the Lord's day every week

What shall I do on Sunday?
Is the question on Saturday asked
I find it is oft repeated
And to give an answer I am tasked

Could the answer be that I
Within my own selfish thought
See myself on Sunday
At home for church is naught

Or could my answer be
Next Sunday I'll make amends
Not knowing that I so mortal
May on the morrow meet my end

Could it be that I shall rest
Sleep Sunday mornings hours away
Then when told "We missed you Sunday"
What is the reason I shall say?

Why do I seek excuse?
To stay away from church
When my absence leaves me a weaker soul
And the heart of Christ it hurts

I shall change my priority
Take Jesus inviting hand
Go with him to church each Sunday
And in His presence stand

No harm can be done
Where the word of God is told
Now each Saturday I have my answer
Tomorrow to church I go

Why is Jesus condemned ?
Why is he despised?
Why is he rejected?
Why is he belied?
Why is he forgotten?
Why is he treated with scorn?
Why is he viewed as venom?
Why is his character torn?
Why is he detested?
Why is he treated with hostility?
Why is he abhorred?
Why must he suffer such cruelty?
Why is he the bête noire?
Why is he vilified?
Why is Jesus hated?
When for you he was crucified?

Forgive my impatience,
or disobedience,
or sin.
Lord, I know there's a dance
you're preparing me for,
I'm not yet in.
Lord, I know you're taking what's broken
and gently have begun to mend.
And I don't want to be a disappointment,
no...never again.
Keeping searching my heart, God,
so I may never stray again.
Rid me of my flesh.
Rid me of my selfishness.
And Jesus, let your holiness be my amen.
I will lift my hands, I will bend my knees, I will raise my voice.
So give me a song to sing.

This the knowledge
I've succumb to as I reach old age
The wisdom I've gathered
Is pointless if carried
With declaration of being a sage
Sooner of later
Time will have control
The best remedy I have
Is prayer to
The Master for my soul

Here in this my darkest hour
Chilled down to the marrow bone
Once a vibrant now fading flower
Where soon only weeds will grow

I had thought myself invincible
Here now holding auditions with death
As he freely asks morbid questions of me
Standing naked with no dignity left

Too late now I find myself looking inward
At the empty boxes lining my soul
Knowing full well that I was forewarned
That one day this bell would toll

Looking back on the years I have wasted
At mine and others expense
A bitterness so strong you can taste it
The flavor, my own detriment

I clearly see what could be to late for me
Breathing out my final battle cry
When in the end neither fame not fortune
Could replace my need for Jesus Christ

Sacrifice of desires, sacrifice of wealth, sacrifice of social status, sacrifice of relations, sacrifice of inanimate belongings, Would the sacrifice be sacrifice to become of God?
And your mind wanders and fetches bits of pain you felt when you made that one small sacrifice and answers "Yes" if sacrifice is pain, there would be pain to become of God.
Your soul replies, "To bear that pain you need to experience pain, to experience pain, you need to sacrifice. Pain births the strongest. Be of pain, be of God"
Choose the road of cobble stones, and you would walk alone.
Choose the road of thorns to reach God,
You would walk with God.

A prayer is like a Melody
without it there's no harmony. . .
you can go sharp or flat
and lose something you once had. . .

Let notes of GOD be your choice
and make music instead of noise. . .
Through this melody you can speak
and he will listen without a peek. . .

It can be done in many ways
like singing in to praise
Or chanting with eyes that glaze
because spirit and soul engage. . .

Please hold on my friend
all our problems will soon end. . .
Don't fill your heart with worry
for the hand that hold us, is HOLY.
