… and the Sanhedrin cried out loudest,
Free Barabbas.
Ergo,
The Republic got nailed.
Sins of the Senate.

You don't wear black face.
You'd never do such.
You don't wear white face;
Do you Kabuki?
Mime, non? Mime, oui?
But every March,
Millions of others,
Attired in green,
Some painted like Celtic warriors,
Affect terrible brogues,
And get sotted, some must disgracefully.
That's what the Irish do, think they?
I won't wear a yarmulke on Yom Kippur,
Not a burka on Eid al-Adha,
Or lead the parade
Up Fifth Avenue.

Don't know why the world thinks the Irish are drunkards. I go to Ireland every year, and the only drunks I see are North Americans, whites and blacks, gays, straights and all others not mentioned.  Even the phrase "Paddy Wagon" is an ethnic slur.

There's a darkness tempting you,
I stood still, thinking why
You'd be gone so soon.
I collected my things, my cap and mac,
And you said, Don't go just yet.

Go where?

You slapped your ruby gloves
Against your outstretched palm;
You turned that look of regret;
Then was heard what we knew was absurd:
Please, don't go just yet.

They warned us not to worry,
Just do our best in school;
Those worldly professionals,
Taught us work-to-rule.

They did a few case studies
On twins from day of birth;
There's a fifty-fifty chance,
A will be born first

They are urban fighters,
Of fire, crime and blame;
They live in high rise condos,
They return from foreign lands.

They  wait over subway vents,
Their hearts and heads are bent;
They show-up in walk-ons,
They go without for Lent.

They fly in and out of space,
They don't identify with race;
They're picked up for vagrancy,
They dance cautiously in the street.

They volley warning shots
Across our private dreams;
They sign and seal a peace accord
They're sincere to a degree.

They contribute to the run-off,
And spiked our holy water;
They enlisted Moms and Dads,
Then slaughtered sons and daughters.

They made rings from ivory,
And pale lamp shades from skin;
They list dissipation
As a personal sin.

Then they did unholy things
With wood and nails, then atoms;
They tore at our goodly earth,
Wreaked havoc with their mapping.

They distilled our alcohol,
Made smoking so appealing;
Then they rang the tower bells,
And preached we had no feelings.

They dug deep for wishing wells,
Grew stuff to **** our germs;
They bestowed us rods and reels,
And spades to dig our worms.

They connected us
Through wireless touch;
They counseled us on loneliness,
And the traps of busyness.

They pronounce death is art
When they hang it on a wall;
Then blame it on our women,
In a scene based on our fall.

They're newsy opaque,
In love or hate;
They are the ambiguous,
The they, them and all of us.
In fashion with non-gender pronouns.

You’ve  said
that you’re against
all wars
but yet you allow
your mind
to remain in darkness
depressingly
fighting a war within
yourself
I must
remind you
A Rose is a Rose
Love is Love
Just like
War is War

WAR
IS
WAR
MY FRIEND

It’s time to decide
what you’re going to do
with what’s happened
to you
Happiness doesn’t
come to you
It comes from you
It’s time to create
an environment
conducive to joy

WAR
IS
WAR

PERIOD!
WAR IS WAR NO MATTER HOW SMALL..
Life is fragile and fleeting, Live Well , Love yourself!

That’s the message!

Cool morning blues
break warmer
as the sun floats gently
over the horizon.

Eyes flutter open,
the creases and cricks are
pushed out into a polite yawn...

A new day dawned,
lost hopes replaced with a new desire,
freedom whispers you can do it!

And I for once,
believe I can!

For the times that seemed so dark and hollow

You have been a beacon of light

You've  tripped me up

You've helped  me up

Your heated touch has stung as well as thrilled

Your eyes have held disspointment

And unrivaled love

You've ripped my heart from my soul

And put it back just as easily

I guess what I know is that

The beauty of us

is in the restoration of tragedy

The righting of wrongs

The life of lovers

Tormented souls

Finding meaning and solace

In each others arms

Wrapped by the thighs

In passionate pleas

For Love to last

Forever and all the versions

In all dimensions

Of existence to last for infinity

Is after all our aeons together

The depth of our challenges

Nothing much compared to

Our infinite forever love.

What if i told you your demons are a result of constant programming you to want more than you need, more than you deserve?

What if i told you its completely reversable?

That you take over your subconcious conciously. Mindfully and manually work at the art of appreciation. Tell your self what you constantly dont need.

Dont fall for the time trap. It was invented by the rat race to turn us all into rats  Pavlov's dogs on steroids. Silence the bell and make a concious choice using your God-given free will.

Smile at the sun, wink at the moon,warmly blow a kiss to the stars and never look back at the passive way you let those demons control your life.

Pain free, drug free, because you choose to give it no consent. No dominion.

You, one of the great contributions of this incredible world; who was stopped from manifesting all your pitential because you were too busy trying to find a name and a source for your apathy and frustration.  Because thats the way a fool is used as tool of destruction.

YOU have THE  POWER to CHANGE EVERYTHING. Its in YOUR HANDS. Call in the beauty and grace of the universe as I AM
It is assured.

What if you BELIEVED me?
Author's Notes/Comments:
I dare you to think better on purpose  call out the **** you dont need and cast it off  whats stopping you from trying? What ever it is conmand it to leace and replace it with patience kindness and appreciation. Fear is for the oppressed.

Classes start today; summer's met its end,
The books lie waiting once again upon the shelf
To share the lie that education is the path for everyone
To happiness and wealth.

Those who will and those who won't succeed
File in and settle down, day one,
Segregated, aggregated in their rows of need,
Stamped by labels and by scores.

The gauntlet lies before them:
Papers, deadlines, speeches, tests
To find the laurel winners.
And to **** the needy rest.

"Success is counted sweetest by those who ne'er succeed,"
Old Emily once said, and she'd be right to say it once again
About the battlefields in every school I've been.

This fall I'm taking time to hear
My students' goals and dreams,
Their challenges and hopes,
To say "I see you with my eyes."
I hope to see their hopes arise.

The race is to the steady, Aesop said,
The plodders beat the plotters in their way,
If we who have the gate keys in our hands
Encourage strugglers to stay.
Thinking about the great aggregation taking place in every school, the separating of the winners and the losers, about educational justice.
