Think about the way that we live today,
what we preach to our children, what we learn them to say.

Think about how we are spending most of our time,
working for a dollar selling for a dime.

Think about our families take a step back,
on every street people dealing out crack.

Think of our cities and how we rotate,
the people in charge leading the debate.

Think about our planet the damage we've done,
about the crimes, tragedies and the times that we've won.

Think of all the bad things, then think of all the good,
do what's right in life, do what you know that you should.

Think about the way that we live today ,
make positive changes that's all I can say.

Inner issues lead people to misuse,
selling their bodies, taking drugs they abuse
themselves they can't get no help their stealing off the shelves,
To survive in this life this crime is now rife,
young kids ruling the streets they're armed with a knife.
Inner Issues torturing peoples minds their trapped in this hell,
need a fix, looking for things they can sell,
to get through another day amongst this badness, you can see the real sadness in their eyes, you can hear their tortured cries.
They've become numb to this way,
I see it everyday, In the depths of their darkness I hear them pray,
for a better existence, you can feel their resistance to, change for the better from jail they write a letter, the rain is getting wetter.
Inner Issues their tortured by abuse, they can't call a truce to all of this abuse,
a slave to the devil, they're on a deeper level in this life they revel.

Can you see it standing there?
Watching you brushing your hair.
Can you smell it's moist breath?
As goosebumps rise before your eyes.
Can you hear it at night whispering to you?
As you strain to dismiss its hiss as water in the pipes.
Can you feel it sitting on your bed?
Tugging the covers closer to you.
Can you taste it in your mouth?
Copper fear, and fetid death.
Can you sense it's here for you?

Your heart is a fragile thing.
Everyone’s heart is.
Don’t ever contaminate hatred
**Contaminate love instead.

Birth.
Breathe.
First sight.
Exploring this world all through the night.

Young.
Small.
Innocent.
Oblivious to the world he's in.

Speak.
Laugh.
Learn to walk.
Knows nothing of how his peers will talk.

School.
Start.
Feels cursed.
Years go by and the words get worse.

Run.
Fear.
Completely alone.
His tears will be forever known.

Grown.
Old.
No threat.
But the words they said he'll never forget.

His conscience infiltrates the darkness within
Molded with moss of remorseful sins
Beginning to see the light they claimed
Whenever he strands the truth
Their eyes and lips exerted in ways of deceit
Not upholding the justice he once knew

Now living in a world of duplicity
Where he don’t need mirrors to see
That vivid reflection of pretense blinded by mendacity
They varied the trust he uphold only to be lost
By what they preached

He ran like a wild animal that he is
Hoping to be free from this spawn of hatred
His wings grew from the mettle he believed in
His heart pumping with venom
Every second breathing to his last
But he didn't care if he’s dying

He just wants to be free from all these fibbers
He wanted the world he believed in to believe
That there’s still hope for everyone
We are all humans in the beginning
Only to become beasts in the end

But we do have a choice to change
Before it’s too late

For when the light fades out
And darkness lurks in
**We’ll be the void of existence we once lived
Who or what i'm writing about??
Whatever that you imagined it is.
*Hints: They're controlling the whole world right now.
And they're silent on what's happening in Palestine. Think about it.

men ask us
"what is a **** culture?"

when a woman's "no"
enters through the mind of a man and comes out as
"convince me"
that is a **** culture

when i cannot walk down the streets at night
without my keys between my fingers
that is a **** culture

when a victim is blamed
and a criminal is sympathized with because
"he had such a bright future"
that is a **** culture

when he was an adult and i was a child
and you dare to ask me what i was wearing
that is a **** culture

so if you're asking me
"what is a **** culture"
i will tell you

*it is our ******* culture
