Our love blossomed from the sheets, we liked to play but not for keeps.
You set me dancing on the air,
we lived our lives without a care.

Once or twice you bought me flowers,
we'd often talk for hours and hours.
We'd watch the rain through the sky
and play a game just you and I.

~ and there goes my soul again,
I gave my all and we're still friends.
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul again.

I've seen them walk down the road,
I've seen lovers come and go;
I've seen them smiling
and I've seen them drunk,
There goes my soul again.

Once or twice you bought me flowers,
we'd often talk for hours and hours.
We'd watch the rain through the sky
and play a game just you and I.

Sketching pictures in the sand,
picking apples hand-in-hand.
We drew the water from the stream,
our bellys busted at the seams.l

~ and there goes my soul again,
I gave my all and we're still friends.
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul again.

Perdue Poems
see the people rivers
    look how they flow
             from place to place
            do you think they know
                             the winding path they follow
                                      like water in a brook
                    passing over every bend
every rock and every hook
do they know the traveled path
more than any babbling creek
or are they like the grains of sand
                                               flowing in the river weak
are people in the people river
                                       like little drops of rain
or are they like the river
every one the same

Silver drops, topaz dreams
sift through
the moon-flower embrace
of time and time again.

The soft steps of my heart
echo through the drift and swell
of Love's sea-washed tide.
To the shore and back
this ocean of roses drifts
upon the frothy waves
of sun-kissed lips.

O, the dew that drops;
and yet lingers still
when night has come to bed.
What voyages this heart has taken
when embraced upon arms
strong and silenced
that hold and grasp
through tempest-tossed seas.

The romance of two entwined
sung into the dusky dawn
while the hearts live
in silver drops, topaz dreams
longing for more moon-flower embraces
in the time and time again of forever.

The will of thee
A growing flame,
A fruitless tree, a sinner's shame!

Crawl through dust,
To bow to thee,
I am the blood that's underneath.

Rip the cage,
And become you,
Divine the rage that boils me through.

The raven's eye,
The wolf that howls,
Bless me with fire within your bowls.

Sun is just the same
Every single day
Sun is just the same
Sun is just the same!

Smother me away
Life is just a ray
Smother me away
Smother me awaaaaay!!!!(growl this one real loud y'all :))

The will of thee
A lasting scar
The lust for you has got me far

Crawl through dust,
Beneath the feet,
The sword is rusting in the sheet.

**** the cage
And burn you through,
You are me and I am you!

The vulture's smile.
The sinners shame.
**** me *******, we are aflameeee....

Sun is just the same
Every single day
Sun is just  the same
Sun is just the same

Smother me away
Life is just a game
Smother me away
Smother me awaaaaay!!!!

Wild as she wandered.  Lost in the lights.  Seeking solitude. Her art expressive, her painted skin.  Ink stains on the pathways.  She's sentenced to blend.  A torn reciept, the crumpled playing card, a seven again.

Weeks passed in years, moments in days.  Tomorrow is a broken rainbow.  Lost in thought, the breeze remains.

Silk coated the plush,
your warm hands to greet me.
Soft caresses of my hair,
from a girl with hands softer.

Sunlight drifting in,
soft gold flakes dancing just for us—
warm open windows
to attract the sounds of society,

off-white, draping robes cover
lace-clad thighs—
smoother than thought possible.
All there for me to caress.

Time in molasses...
nowhere to be,
nobody to please,
except, of course, Her.
Ancient Greece was the peak Gay time tbh

We fall from grace
And mix with the rain,
Then look into their's
To make our heart feel okay.
We all know the secrets of those eyes,
And yet no one blows the whistle
To end this tide.

For the rains have ceased to exist,
It's just us falling from grace.
