Christ came to save
Making His love to stay
Not just for this day
But everyday to remain.

Came as a little infant
Laid in that manger
From birth
The path of humility He paved.

All for love He came
To bring redemption to reign
Illuminating every darkness
The joy of salvation He made.

Not just for a soul
Neither for a while,
But forever to every heart who believes
That He came for all to save.

Joseph and Mary tried to find shelter but they were unable.
Finally, an innkeeper gave them permission to use his stable.
Jesus was born in that stable and Mary put him in a manger.
An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him that Jesus was in danger.
An evil king was sending people to **** the Son of God.
The king who did this was none other than King Herod.
Mary and Joseph took Baby Jesus away, they had to flee.
Jesus and his family wound up living in Nazareth of Galilee.
Because Jesus was perfect, he was a man who people could trust.
Jesus and his father love us so much that Jesus died for all of us.
Mary....
how did it feel,
when the Spirit of God overshadowed you?
And God within you began to grow?

Joseph...
how was it to know
you must raise the Son of God,
not your own flesh and blood?
Were you afraid to fail,
as so great a task before you stood?

Shepherds...
how did you feel when you saw
Heaven opened in glorious, blinding Light,
with myriads of angels
singing in the night?
Did it fill you with fright?

Wise men...
how was it to travel
through dust storm, heat, and cold,
mile after mile,
following the Star
wherever God would lead?

Donkey...
how did it feel to carry the mother of God
upon your back so broad?
How did it feel to watch Him laid in a manger bed?
So humble.
So small.
So mild.

How did it feel for all of you who witnessed
His humble, yet glorious birth?
Were you filled with awe and wonder?
At the meek beauty of the King of Kings,
born in a stable?
Did you bow before Him in reverence,
and worship Him?
For He who was laid in a manger bed of wood,
will later die for you upon a Cross, so crude.

This Child you look upon
is the Saviour of everyone.
So yes....
Gaze.
Look upon Him.
With awe and wonder.
The Son of God in a manger.
The Son of God.
Your Saviour.
Born through a ******,
Symbolising how pure he had to be..
How perfect he would live to be worthy of dying for all our sins..
Holy above all humanity so that if we repent in his name,we may live in his righteousness.
Glory be to the prince of peace,
Oh hail the King! Bless the Lord!
We commemorate his birth because of his greatness beyond measure... Love too big and grace too deep.
Jesus Christ, our reason for the season!
Dark, dark world.
People.
In *******.
In chains of slavery.
Chains tying up.
Hearts and minds and limbs.
Chains put upon them.
By cruel oppressors.

Dark, dark world.

But wait!
Have you heard the glorious news
from Bethlehem?
A prophecy is fulfilled!
A Great Light has come!
Into
the dark, dark world.
Your Saviour!
Baby Jesus in the manger!
Has been born!
Into this dark, dark world.

He is the Light shining
in the darkness.
Sin and slavery shall
no longer hold man in *******.

Dark, dark world.
Your Light has come.
Rejoice! Rejoice!
A new day has dawned!

Valsa George
On a bleak and frosty night
Vexed and weary two travelers rode
Along the pathways-craggy and ragged
From Nazareth, trudging miles on end

Full pregnant, was she with child
Mary -the ******, suffused with Spirit Holy
Divinely ordained to bear the Godly Prince
Conceived before, she had known her spouse.

Abiding in Heaven’s Providence n’ care
They had rode past miles behind
Far too fatigued by the trip
Mary, now badly needed a place to rest.

Heading towards the blinking lights
Not far from the city’s guarded gate
Joseph sighted a tavern-small
Perched high on a tiny hill

A sense of relief beamed past
They have come at last to the journey’s end
Finally found a place to rest!
An interim home away from home

Tethering the donkey outside the gate
Joseph helped Mary alight the brute
In eager search, he hurried inside
With Mary, following with faltering steps.

But the couple, to their dismay found
Within the tavern, room, there was none
For many a man had gathered round
To halt there on that freezing night

Sundry folk from surrounding lands
Had reached Bethlehem for the yearly census
Tradesmen selling clothes and cheese
Nomads of varying clans and clime

Petulant camels, braying donkeys
The place was littered with man and beast.
The tavern small, so packed to full
Had no more space to harbor the crowd

Mary and Joseph, though dejected,
Were encamped within a manger- warm
With tender concern, Joseph joked,
To ease the strain on Mary’s face

“Gaze upon this palace of gold
Where a son shall soon be born to us”!
Mary smiled a gentle smile,
Humored by her husband’s jest

Under the gaze of tethered hosts
In veiled privacy of the midnight gloom
She gave birth to a radiant child,
The great Redeemer to all Mankind

The star studded sky suddenly glowed
With a rare brilliance never beheld
And a celestial voice trailed along
Delivering ‘tidings of joy’ to the globe around
Wish all my dear friends on HP a MERRY CHRISTMAS full of joy and peace!

To all the Christmases behind me
I remember how you used to be
Sitting around the Christmas tree
Listening to stories of wise men three

Of all the Christmases gone by
I remember crystal skys
And sparkling grape juice in the ice
The pungent smells of Christmas wine

For all the Christmases I've seen
I recall the Christmas dream
Of gifts and sweets beneath the tree
And stuffed stockings waiting for me

And all the Christmases I've reached
I feel the sand beneath my feet
All those games down at the beach
And tossing bread out to the sheep

And all the Christmases end
By decorating ginger bread
And laying down our heavy heads
On feather pillows on our beds

Sweet child whose face is pure light
Is there anything that still you want?
Frankincense and gold and myrrh
Are yours as well as all the earth
You came to rescue all of us
Your life you gave upon the cross
You are the perfect gift for us
On this day called Christmas
I wrote this on Christmas And meant to post it then. It's a little late now but that doesn't change the meaning.

The reason for the season is my Lord, but
what makes my heart warm with love on Christmas
is your embracing love for me
I love you more than all the times you've caressed me added together
I listen to Christmas music while absorbing the crackle of the logs in the fire, dancing to the music we make to each heart beat

My Love you are my Christmas, without you their is no food,no song, no present that can take your place
I dreamed for so long to find someone like you or rather just you
to love me so deeply that I am filled and I no longer feel empty
You are and always will be my Christmas Wish

'
Merry Christmas all

Christmas means many things
When I think of Christmas I think of light
The great star that lit up all the night

The candles that shed their warm glow over the face of our Lord
And the greatest light who came to earth for love's great fight

And when I think of Christmas I think of pretty things
I think of tinsel and of wreathes and Christmas decorations

I think of all the lighted windows
and all the scarlet berries hidden in the snow

And when I think of Christmas I think of warming hearths
I think of many things along many of thoughts paths

But most of all the miracle that made the cold depart
Because of Jesus Christ, Christmas thaws the heart
