You are small
But you will grow
The grass will not always
Look like a forest to you
You will forget to relish the feeling
Of dirt between your toes
Your alarm will go off one morning
And you will make your way to work
And you will crush grass beneath your feet
Absent mindedly
Instead of eyeing it with wonder
And wondering what magic
Placed it there for you to play in
You will mow your lawn, and I'm sure
That you will ***** about it too
You are small, but you will grow
And the grass and I will miss you

I coloured my world today
my hands smeared in pastels
canary yellows
ripe peaches and cardinal ochres
pink from a flamingo sunrise
a passionate cerise
Splashed
an array of feisty blues
a flamboyant turquoise
a topaz tango
a twinkling periwinkle
Streaked it with
gold
contoured lilac smudges
lavender tipped edges
in custard pineapple floats
splattered emeralds, toned pistachio
fern greens with swift finger strokes
Tempered it with
muddy crusty earthy browns
rock coloured sandy mounds
reined in royal purple
the sensual blaze of a flaming sunset
the dark indigo of a gloaming sky
agate drops a few
a silver sliver of a crescent new

I coloured my world
with my eyes
my fingers, hands
my hues
just the way I wanted to
An old poem
You deserve someone who gives you
More than a shoulder to lean on--Someone who gives you
Their right arm,

Someone who protects your heart,
Nourishes your soul,
And keeps your spirit
Away from harm.

You deserve someone
Who brings out the very best in you,

Someone who appreciates
All that you are
And all that you do.

You deserve someone
Who wants you to be
Nothing more
Or nothing less
Than the real you,

Someone who will never
Extinguish the light
From the fire
That burns deep within you.

Fears grow in my mind
I do need your gentle touch
So I can blossom

Looking at paintings
Forgotten and sweet goodbyes
Hands reach but don't meet
*sigh*

Showing everything as clear as it can,
Revealing all the secrets of men,
Eyes shows everything,
Just like a mirror to one's heart,
Reflecting all the lies,
On happiness shines,
& to show pain it shed diamonds,
Even if one try to hide them,
It will show symptoms...
To me eyes are the most beautiful part of anybody, cause it makes one convey all feelings, which even sometimes words can't...

The spaces
Where seconds
Pass.

The Blink
Of
An Eye
Never
Phasing us,
As we
Forget to
Breathe.

Monotonous.
The Day,
Fades.

Stopping
For a Second,
To look at
Our hands,
Fingers
That move,
Miracles
That go
Unnoticed
As we rarely
Take the time to
Acknowledge
Them.

A silent gap
Between
The music...

Does anyone
Take
The time,
To listen
To it?
