I searched
the deepest depths
of the vastest oceans,
I searched way up high,
past the clouds,
in the bluest of blue skies,

I searched
deep in the hearts
of nature's greenest forests...
It turns out,
that I was carrying it within me
all along - only now, do I realise.

When the woman you love is a poet,
It is hard to tell the difference,
between a poem and a conversation,
When the woman you love is a poet,
She will never speak her thoughts,
I have to decipher the lines,
When the woman you love is a poet,
It's hard not to be ensnared by the words,
And remember that the notes she sings,
Were not all for you

Oh, should I have a dress made of sunlight,
Embellished with dewdrops from heaven;
And a crown on my head full of stardust,
From stars that will dance on my head top.

The morning shall curtsy to me,
I, the maiden of light.
The sky will acknowledge my presence.
The earth will rejoice with the heavens.

Oh, should I have a dress made of sunlight
and the stars atop my head,
I could gnash my teeth at darkness,
and darkness will run and hide.
I just tried to imagine the sunlight with a few exaggerated characteristics.

I got locked out of the house today
While feeding my cat on the porch
In a bathrobe without my purse
No phone, no key, barefoot of course

So I sprinted to the driveway
Where my man was still backing out
Engrossed in checking his emails
He must have missed my screaming shout

Backed out all the way to the street
His eyes ahead in the early dawn
He didn't see my panicky dance
Off to work, in a flash, he was gone

Despite my last ditch effort
Racing after him down the street
He never looked back, not once
I was abandoned with ****** feet

It's only half past 7am
Time to problem-solve my way inside
Even though I had a ladder to climb
Every lock and bolt let all hope die

That day I spent on the patio
Long and hot it was to be sure
Feeling neglected and left behind
I cried a few tears in a blur

Then I did some overdue yard work
Drank out of the hose like my dog
Relaxed in the hammock instead of lunch
Dozed off in an afternoon fog

Till I found a book on reflexology
I'd been meaning to read for so long
Practiced a few techniques on my cat
And planned how I'd tell Bill he'd done me wrong

Yesterday he was in me and the stars bowed as I touched the sky
maybe its not his rib I got but his pelvis
I'm in between laughter and crying.. some bare thin line
His hands are drawing contours on my skin
And

we all give in especially ,my *******,they surrender to him
my thighs are praying to him now
right after I wrap myself in him and fall into death for just a brief moment

You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get when your falling in love?
Thats all your common sense..leaving you.

You long for death and in that moment, his loved one has died and his tears stain her body and his love has drowned out of his heart;
You say it's not worth living, and her father has passed and along with him, goes her soul, her happiness, her life;
You ask why you were born, whilst others cannot conceive and weep of humiliation whilst the pain of them not being able to have a child haunts them forever;
You hate your life of riches, yet the suffering of those with nothing echoes around the world and dances through each of our ears;
You complain of your house being too small, whilst there are kids screaming of fear and pain without shelter, their safety has been taken away from them so harshly;
You hate your shoes, whilst another is walking barefoot on glass, with blood drenching from his body;
You complain of your parent(s), whilst a young orphan girl is drawing the pictures of her parents with chalk on the ground, and all she wonders, is why they were murdered so inhumanely.
You hate the world, for all the wrong it has done to you, whilst another has been stripped of their freedom, *****, and made to lay lifelessly on the ground;
You hate the new toy bought for you, and yet, a young boy only has one toy to remind him of his now murdered family, and his screams from his nightmares echo the jungle in which he sleeps in.

And in the time they mourn, and she draws, and he screams, you complain.
Appreciate the life you are given, for you are strong enough to live it, and many others can only wish for the things you have.

The ghosts of old raindrops
mock and scold.
Their scorn writ large
on these dusty roads and in these dusty throats.
To tote the barge but not lift the bail
ain't no kind of protest.
Spit in the well and
hope the master draws up that bucket-full.
Wishes.
Still, the giver of life
serpentines through this valley
like the Euphrates did
in that one book, but
it does not matter
since the scythe swings
in such wide circles
this time of year.
We can bring in sheaves until dusk
then fish for men in the morning but
our souls are still corrupted.
Our hearts are rotten like old pears.
I'm so thirsty.

There's a woman whose invisible when I'm awake, she's just a dream of who I chased in life, who's shoulders carried such weight that each step caused a quake, a force of nature is what she is, a new universe, somthing she's ready to charge out and take.

A dream in the night

She's a vision of both light and dark in place where they medley between dimensions, she's the type that always runs away from her family's predictions and has no time for her own admitions, the kind to stay calm when the wind picks up, without a care of the world's intentions, she brings out her poetry book and writes down all her ambitions.

A fire so bright

She has dreams of touching the stars no matter how hot they'd turn out to be, she'd welcome the black fingers and charred palms so long as there's a new horizon to see, new lands to brave, focus frontal and astral dust in her tracks as she speeds across nations and over every sea, never to live a relapse.

A drug without addiction

No dreams of being a cover girl, she enjoys the dirt on her hands and laughter in the air while dancing on expectations of failed people who couldn't bare to dance with someone who just wasn't afraid of the stares, she just brushes it off like autumn leaves in her hair.

A life without conviction

Strong enough to take on a giant but brittle to the touch, she refused help every turn of the way and chose to take the punch, stubborn and reliable, someone who gives all they can even when it ain't much.

Always so strong

She's a dark light in the golden sun with her Auburn hair, pale complexion, and emerald eyes, she's a bright dream in the moonlight with her ruby lips, colorful songs, and complex inquiries into maybes, hows, and whys.

I never thought you could be gone

Everyone has an end like the weaning breath of a dieing dream but no one would have thought a dream would end its self.

Always so wrong

A perfect funeral for an almost perfect person, perfect sounds to describe an almost perfect memory, your smell on my jacket brings the end to an almost perfect day.

A conclusion to your favorite song

You taught the world the meaning of saying goodnight and taught me the meaning of waking up to say, come whatever may, no matter how wrong or right.

Write me your poetry. Write me your words. How your body trembled from bliss. Being pumped into your veins as every breathe escaped you. Clenching muscles making your brain flush with hormones and chemicals. It's a drug. The things we do to one other. Pure. Raw. Natural. Ecstasy created within who we are. Derived of nothing more than intriguingly random chemical compounds. Acting on systems as vast as the galaxies around us. It's a wonder. Is this not a gift from the very force that drives us. Let me have you. Let me be one with you. Let us collide. Where your pen meets paper. Exists our universe. That very universe. I just created. I know you felt it. Let it surround us. Please let us become lost. Write me your poetry, darling.
