Vengence on her brow
On her palm, crisp gold chaos
For the beautiful

Another woman of myth!
This haiku is dedicated to Eris, another favourite Greek goddess of mine.
How one action caused such great war...

She whose born to strength
Wet with love for Achilles
Her life paid for wind

Another woman of myth, Iphigenia.
Such a tragic figure of Greek myth, I grew up with the version of her being sacrificed by her father to appease Artemis, though I know there are other variants to the story.
So sad...
But I really am enjoying this series, I hope you all are too!
There's alot more to come!
Be back soon with more!
Much love,
