☆☆♡♡♡ HELLO POETRY ♡♡♡☆☆

Thank you all so much for your support of my work! This was such a pleasant surprise!
I wish I could thank each and every one of you who is commenting and responding to this piece. Unfortunately things are happening at my home which are beyond my control. My dad wasn't feeling well. He's better now but he still has a lump in his right cheek. He had had cancer at the base of his tongue and this is in the same area. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! They are greatly appreciated!

I'm just putting everything in God's hands.

Something bigger than I am,
those shoulders over mine
and faster than I can be,
cannibalizing time,
it's not sad,
I'm not sad...

Someway it's worth one's while
seizing bubbles from reverie
and in between no crime,
starving now and then
I'm not dying,
it's not dying

What comes by nature grows,
poignant embrace to abide by.
To sharpen up a stem to a lilac rose
leaves bewildered but crucially alive
it's just my thought...
I'm just in a thought

But first I am
real and here
on my own to venture onward.
What goes around, comes around... This time it's Love in all its mutual, strange, controversial, harsh, stupid, free and countless ways... And I'm gratefully blessed, as quick as it's been though, that it came around, for it never leaves without letting you grasp somethings unconditionally good.

Dreams are made of chocolate huts
With burgundy windows, cherry **** doors
Sweet icing on cream layered roofs
Almond -walnut -caramel floors

Dreams are made of iris and jasmine
Jacarandas lined in purple rows
Tree blossoms in clustered cobs
Petals that dance like a ballerina's toes

Dreams are made of fern green forests
Oakwood trees  that cast a spell
A  gossamer web of magic and charm
The music of clinking coins in a wishing well

Dreams are made of cerulean skies
Contrails of clouds in ivory snow
Violet mystic misty mountains
A  tangerine orb riding a rainbow

Dreams are made of romance laced nights
A golden peach vanilla moon
Venus lighting, igniting,love's fire
The silhouette  of love in rain soaked June

Dreams are made of turquoise seas
Calm waters stroked by gentle waves
Or enticed by the charm of a midsummer night
Waters that heavenly Cynthia craves

Dreams are made of silk and satin
Dappled with reds, greens and blues
But the dreams that I love to dream the most
Are all the dreams made of you

Will you watch me as I soar,
Stare into space as I disappear?
Will you love my memory,
After I'm no longer here?
Will you sketch an image into time,
And frame it on your wall?
When I finally fade away,
Will you catch me as I fall?
Is it too much to ask,
For you to float by my side?
Can you never let me go,
And if you fail, will you still try?
Can you take me higher,
Than just an endless journey?
Can you take me higher,
Than what you've already done for me?

Drifting soft upon a cloud
Heading nowhere fast
All alone just you and me
Wishing it to last
Here below the skies of blue
Thankful for the day
Everywhere is something new
In its grand display
Reaching out to touch the wind
Flowing summer breeze
Gazing on a winding stream
There between the trees
Following a hummingbird
Quick as it can fly
Looking down upon the earth
Up here in the sky
Feeling warm beneath the sun
Sending forth a smile
Drifting soft upon a cloud
Dreaming for a while
Yeah, I know, another "dream" poem. What can I say, I'm a dreamer. :)

.

Looking on
this expanse that encircles me,
closing in during open hours,
unlocking doors I can’t seem to walk through
Stairways of rotted, termite eaten steps
each with my name painted on them,
creaking underfoot,
losing to the weight of
long lines at self serve counters
wrapping around as if
nothing is free but here
for some reason it is

And I stand right in the middle
alone in this ocean of faces,
polo shirts and penny loafers
staring at cell phone screens,
calling someone,
talking with their hands,
hands free?
Paying it forward,
coffee for the next guy in line,
but not me

For I am just here, anywhere,
somewhere like this,
a thing plopped down,
fallen from the sky,
splattering on the earth,
consumed by the soil,
muddied footprints and all
trudging through the wilderness,
carving a path of existence
breaking branches and
scattering bread crumbs

Still I am me,
standing tall among the taller,
enjoying the shade,
sipping lemonade and eating apple dumplings,
pushing, not pulling forward,
dreaming, (of course)
regardless of tire tracks and scars
or pointed fingers,
Pounding the pavement,
laying a foundation,
driven beyond

Parking lot base,
asphalt themed destinations,
a checkerboard of last rites and dead batteries,
yellow lines on the horizon,
handicapped up front
Looking out over the valley,
watching the world go by,
admiring the beauty,
loving life,
rejoicing in the fact
that it is all so immensely
vast . . .

as am I

I sit and listen to the crickets melancholy tune
I watch the moon start to bloom
The stars pirouette across the sky
Soon the frogs are croaking in relpy
Fireflies light up the night
Flickering their golden light

A single wolf starts to howl
As if to ask the age old question how
I ended up so lonely
And where's my one and only

My dog is sitting at me feet
She looks up at me as if to say, nothing here is off beat
In the cool of the evening
the honeysuckle is smelling much sweeter
Than in the day under the sun's heater

The moths flutter around on silent wings
My heart is so light it just sings
I just sit here for hours dreaming
Under the moon that now is just beaming

My dog gets up and moves to the door
I look at my watch it's way past four
She's ready for the foot of my comfy bed
So I oblige, and make my way inside, and lay down my weary head

MellowMomo
When it's late and sleep has yet to arrive,
I get this strange feeling.
My mind is in overdrive,
While staring at the ceiling.

Sometimes I wonder,
About my latest dream.
I think and ponder,
Is there more to it than it might seem?

There are times that I don't remember at all,
Like a fog that has clouded my mind.
There's nothing that I can recall,
Even if I try to rewind.

Dreams are life's many mysteries,
They just come and go.
Like ships sailing the seas,
Going with the water flow.

And like ships dreams can also sink,
They will never come up again from below.
Gone in a blink,
They seem like something from a long time ago.

I vaguely remember this one time,
A dream that was so good.
It gave me a wonderful feeling so sublime,
It put me in a happy mood.

But on another night,
I only felt dread and fear.
I ran for my life in total fright,
Chased by something that I could not bear.

Everything was cold and dark,
I was so scared and alone.
This nightmare left a mark,
I hated to be on my own.

I wish I had someone,
Strong demeanor with feet steady on the ground.
That very special one,
With a warm light to keep me safe and sound.

But I know when I open my eyes,
There will be only me.
Tried to fool myself with lies,
Wasted effort I silently agree.

I stare at the ceiling yet again,
Thinking about the next night.
Wondering what will happen then?
Hoping that I will be alright.

Sweet dreams I would therefore say,
To everyone I hold dear.
I sincerely wish and pray,
That the nights will be peaceful and clear.
Behind sullen doors
Taking a deep slumber
A slumber in a somber shade
I heard faint euphonious whispers
Whispers from nearby woods
Thus lured to wake up
As to gravitate on yonder
To where I was embraced with
Ultimate darkness darker than
A lonely silent grave
Though sauntered by gallantly

Out of kilter was the avenue
Hence wandered whilst wondering
If I could at least find a way
My way back home
Though all in vain
But as luck would have it,
Darkness commenced fading
And in a mean time it dawned

Oh how I longed to hear
Hear early songbirds
Whisper the dawn chorus
But not a single bird chirped

Only to peer through stunted trees
Yonder edge of the mystique woods
Than when I feasted on a sea
A halcyon sea which sparked
Magnificently whilst kissed by rays
Rays of an arresting dawn sun

Oh how I longed to hear
Hear the sound of waves
Splash about my feet
As I stood by the sea shore
But not a single wave ebbed

Whilst flaccidly sobbing in dismay
Serendipitously there I beheld
Beheld a ship amid the sea
Beauteously alluring yet distant
Though couldn’t help it swim
Swim towards such a marvel
And at some length,
There I was onboard

Oh how I longed to rise
Raising her sails as to set sail
But no winds were there
To render me set sail

By a strange dark fate
A great crash of thunder
Came from the purple clouds
And crashed in the skies
Thus lightening flickered
Split up the sky in half
And lit up the vast heaving
Waste of grey black sea
And in a mean time,
For it began down pouring
With stinging rain that fell
Every now and again
Thus everything on the ship
Began to fall about
Though at great length,
For it ceased raining

Oh how I longed for a companion
Whilst quivering at the restless sea
But not a single dolphin could jump
Out of water whilst I sailed on yonder

The sun was now almost gone
And the first star was shining bright
Just me alone, on the mighty sea,
On a voyage, on a quest for the unknown
Just sailing by and by with a lull stiff breeze
To where the sea seamed kissing the skies
As the clouds sailed athwart the moon

Oh how I longed taking a sight
Sight at land where I could seek shelter
But not a single island was there
For me to feast about

By serendipity’s sake,
Soundly I fell into a deep slumber.
Only to wake up,
Not far off were islands
On yonder amid the sea
Blue and misty in the distance
Thus swiftly drifted yonder
Sailed ashore to glamorous shores
Where I was welcomed by sea gulls
Big white gulls that swooped around me
Carried me to the queen of the realm
A queen whose beauty was nothing but
A reflection of novelty pulchritude
Pulchritudinous than any creature
My poor eyes had ever feasted on
A queen with starry bewitching eyes
Long curling glossy auburn hair
An opalescent skin which beamed
With magnificence of a sea
Kissed by the dawn sun

Oh how my eyes beamed with sheer joy
Feasting about such a beauty
That never ceased stunning me
But not a single creature around grinned

No sooner had I sat onto her marble
A glamorous marble beside her porch
With my chin on my knuckles
Whilst narrating to her my indelible adventure
Than when she busted into squeals of laughter
Clasped her snowy hands to my *****
And there was a creek
Like a galleon beating against a gale

**Then I woke up
Not a pie in the sky just like i depicted it but an imaginary scene im still garnishing with the best of stunning imagery as to embed it to my adventurous movie script by the title of "Chronicles Of King Kiko"
An adventurous script pervaded with excruciatingly exquisite stunning imagery which never cease to stun whoever lends me his or her ears.
