She looks in the mirror
At the age on her face
"I wonder what he thinks
of me this way?"

She considers her weight
and the pores on her skin
She thinks out loud
"I don't deserve him."

She picks apart
the woman he loves
Separating her worth
from all that she does

He looks in her eyes
and caresses her face
He sees it glowing with love
and full of grace

 The lines on her face
  he views with pride
  Recounting the victories
  each time they've been tried

The weight that she carries
 is that of a mom
 Nothing's too heavy
 She just marches on

These bodies will perish
 and mirrors offer no truth
True love abides
 beyond the corridors of youth

  No, she doesn't deserve me
  Perhaps God can see
  Conceivably, one day
I'll be as worthy as she
to the mother of my children. Happy Mother's Day!

You must shout your name
into the abyss!
Not to hear it echo back,
but so it may exist.

How I lie and break, broken till to the very tip of my bone
I dislike how I ate my own hate, swallowed till it reaches the gate
How the voices preach to breach the barriers of the untouched soul
Purity bleach the acidic preaches of ones owned,
rinsing the putrid echoes of THE hateful stone.

Innocence remains unreached; it’s a battle of everyday presence.
My pure essence survives the life’s impermanence.

Winning and Losing stands in equilibrium.
Life is not as tasty as the sweet brew.
no matter how much you hate yourself, never let the hate reach you heart and destroy you....

It does not exist
I must insist
For if it did,
I would find it
Somewhere lying in an iridescent mist
No.....
It does not exist
Please cease and desist
You are all dismissed
I shall continue to resist

I do not fear the proverbial fall
My heart will never be involved

It does not exist

I have an anger
but not deep inside
it boils on the surface
like a demon sunrise
violent in glory
defeated in joy
ignited by hatred
laughing I cry

Requiem for a love,
Love unrequited
Love unresolved
I would give up
the site of dawn
to see your face
the sound of music
to listed to your voice
and my very life
To hear "I love you" again

They say the first one to fall in love
Will always be the first one to fall
HARD.
I didn't believe them
Then I saw you
And now I wonder...
When will I ever get back on my feet again?

I couldn't fall in love so I fell asleep
I traveled with a group of four
In a gray-black jeep

I couldn't fall in love so I fell asleep
Yeah, we went down that road
We saw the gray skies
I wore the black wool
She dyed the white sheep
She lived a lie once
I lived to die twice
But...

I couldn't fall in love so I fell asleep
As I close my eyes
I wonder why?
Why must I be a passenger?
Why am I just this bachelor?
Yesterday was my birthday
I just turned twenty-five
What a long long drive
I think I'm finally ready to strive
But however...
I couldn't fall in love
Or fall asleep
So when I dwell
Just beep
