That love which once made me feel comely like a petal.
Is now the same love , bruising me with its thorns.
That love!!

She was afraid of
her own shadow
until you became
her shining light
As for me
I just came to
have some fun
~~~~~~~~~
But if you’re kind ,
****** me
with your words
~~~~~~
Speak of your heart
To my soul
And
feed my soul
With your love
~~~~
I’ll make you mine
On this lovely September morn
It's time for congratulations
Into this world a child is born
Lets raise a glass in celebration.
He starts his world with lulabbys
Parents are there with a guiding hand
To help to see that he gets by
Untill on his own he can make a stand.
But that is many years away
No need to think so far ahead
All that matters is this lovely day
As mother is resting in her bed.
But tomorrow will be another day
With his first steps on life's road
A world that that will be full of play
The future no one knows.
So let's take in this special time
Where all the family gather round
Mother and newborn are doing fine
She smiles when hearing his very first sound.
My wife's wife best friends daughter in law gave
Birth to a baby boy September 20th .she asked me to write a poem
So I wrote this poem .I hope you like it.
I had to go and see my Doctor
For I was feeling rather dõwn
He took one look and said to me
You need to go out on The town.
He asked are you a heavy drinker
And do you drink alot of wine
I said whisky is my tipple
My preference every time.
He asked if I drink it often
I replied every single night
He laughed and said don't worry
That's perfectly alright.
He asked me what's my favourite blend
I said the Scottish highland malt
That's what they recommended
So the drinkings not my fault.
He asked do you eat much greasy food
Now that's something I can't deny
He suggested cooking frozen chips
They take less time to fry.
I asked Doctor what's your verdict
Is there anything you can do
He replied go out and have some fun
We are humans and our years are few.
So i am glad that I saw my Doctor
Now I am happy and I'm pleased
So go and see your Doctor
He will put your mind at ease.
I have a blood presure check tommorow
If my blood pressure is the same as last month
It will be a blood test.this poem is my way of dealing
With going to the Doctors.The sad news is my imaginary Doctor
Has taken early retirement, I don't no why.
Why did we go out this night
Got a feeling something's not right
We should of stayed in bed
What was going through our heads .
Walking in the park after midnight
Not so wise if it gives us a fright.
The hooting sound of an owl
A cunning fox on the prowl.
Feeling scared and week at the knees
The creaking branches from leafless trees
The silence is daunting not a soul insight
We should have never gone out so late at night.
Did you see that shadow there ?
To be very honest it gave me scare
It is time to leave and get out of here
Just like a leaf I am shaking with fear.
I hear footsteps on the path
Let's move ahead and not look back
Listen to that eerie laugh
Something is creepy in this park.
Well To tell you the truth I  told you a lie
We never really went out this night
We never even left our bed
This was all a dream inside my head.
I had a friend many years ago when he had sleepless
Nights he would take his dog for a walk in the park about 2 o'clock in the
Morning.His bravery inspired me to Wright this .
so effing hot today
my skin melting
fat crackling
muscles sizzling
flesh evaporating
bones cracking
skeleton crumbling
burning down
to glowing embers
even my ashes echoing
lamenting the heat
Did someone turn on a giant oven outside?
That's it, I'm done, not once more
I'll never put things off again
I push work back at every chance
My secret slothful sin
Well now I'm through procrastinating
It's time to change my ways
But I don't have the time right now
Swear I'll quit one of these days!
sometimes you just
gotta sit down and write
just grab the apple
and take a bite
just take a leap
into the dark night
if you want to be a poet
you gotta write poems
let the words go
wherever the wind blows em
sometimes your lines will ****
other times blow you away
but stay firm on that writing path
don't be led astray
by laziness and perfectionism
saying you can't do it
don't give in, knock em down
push yourself right through it
let the poem be what it is
let its rhymes ring true
knowing as much
as you're writing the poem
it's also writing you
success comes
through failure
improvement comes
through the grind
go ahead
write bad poems
they'll make you better
in due time
