I hope someone can heal you,
I'm done trying.
in meadows finally released
from the cold grip of snow
spring flowers look so pleased
so happy they can grow

their leaves unfold
their shiny blossoms bring
bright colors back into our world
and make all birds sing spring

blythe
Since the day I met you
Everything seems to change
Feeling like all is new
Wonderful yet strange

I'll wait for you forever
till stars forget to shine,
and oceans become puddles,
words no longer rhyme

Till deserts turn to gardens
where flowers go to bloom,
the grass is red, the skies are green,
the dawn brings out the moon

Till rain is something very dry
and butterflies drive trucks,
when every pond is chocolate sauce
with candy coated ducks

Till basements have a penthouse view
with windows three floors high
and stairways are a place to swim
no matter how you fly

Till mountains are a level path
that you will go to walk
and silence now becomes a way
for every one to talk

Till everything we've ever known
is gone and disappeared
The world does end, there's nothing more
just like we always feared

Till broken hearts are happy,
tears a welcome site
Night comes at the break of day
and daytime looks like night

I'll wait for you forever
until the end of time
It matters not how long it takes
if I can call you mine
I'm not leaving because I don’t love you,
I’m leaving because I need to love me too.
governments who fear to hear
the voices of their citizens
are well advised
to mend their ways

Finally. I'd been striving for a one word poem. After achieving it, I wanted a no word poem. Here it is. I guess this is no longer mine, but ours.

"The Invisible Poem" was selected as the Daily.
I'm humbled... to say nothing.
But I believe a response is necessary.
To all those who liked, loved and commented, I say thank you. I've read all you've written, and most of it is very creative and complimentary.
There are others, detractors, who claim "*******," etc.
Well of course, this only begs the question, "What is poetry?"
I can't answer that. I've written on it. But what I do know is what poetry should do. Its purpose.
If a poem should arouse emotions, bad or good, make people think, have people want to write, to express themselves (and I believe I'm on the mark here), then, anything can be a poem. Even a page with lines on it.
Thanks again to all the readers.
And if you're still *******, don't attack me... go after Elliot. :)
Every wave which
came to the shore
Was just another
reminder that
you never came

Even if you are not talking to me,
The thread connecting our hearts stays,
And that way we stay connected.

Even if you do not feel the love any longer,
Your memories make me feel happier,
And that way we stay connected.

Many-a-times I have felt your pain,
Both in your past and the present,
And that way we stay connected.

I have always prayed to GOD,
For your pain to be transferred,
And that way we stay connected.

No, I do not regret my words,
Perhaps they were the most suited,
And that way we stay connected.

You resent me for my words,
Even I resent you for your actions,
And that way we stay connected.

As this year ends I confess it,
We will be united as one in future,
And that way we stay connected.
Not for K, she had lost me.
And I would not return to her.
It's for a mythical perfect match.
